    Hi all

Have to confess that my plan to give my liver a rest didn't last very long - only one day in fact :o well nearly 2 - went to the quiz on Tuesday night and I was on tonic light but then I won €10 on the snowball so had to celebrate with a glass of wine when we got home. Then yesterday we were entertaining and today we've been out and about and just went along with others having a drink to be sociable. Hey ho, I'm going to have a day off tomorrow then try to keep Monday to Friday alcohol free next week.

Well done Maman and Denise for getting back into target range. :T

    Sorry for your loss GTS.

Pleased to hear the burrito bowls worked for you GFB, I'm going to add that to my menu planner for next week.

Welcome to the thread changeoffocus, I hope the SW plan helps with your health issues.

    Chocolate Brussels sprouts Beanie?

    Back tomorrow.

    Hi all,

I haven't seen any blackcurrant and liquorice mullerlights - where do you get them from please?

I bought a couple of boxes of Alpen lights and find they are really dry and like cardboard just lately, does anyone else find this?

I need to get to Iceland to try the cake shop mullerlights!

A new day, and today could be a challenge. I'm working from home today so I'm going to have to fight temptation. Also need to go shopping tomorrow so some things are running out.

I face this challenge for the first time tomorrow so have taken some chicken breast out of the freezer to cook for snacks as well as planning on filling up on fruit - the posts have reminded me I have some frozen berries in the freezer which I'll defrost.

GFB the lunch bowl sounds lovely - I might try to add that to next week's menu.

I'm looking forward to sleeping this weekend and then menu planning / cooking for the week so I have 'ready meals' for when I get back from work though I'm still struggling for space in the freezer and re-reading the books to try to memorise which fruits veg are speed.
  • Well today went really well.... until tonight when I have gone through 4 bags of crisps (space raiders) and some shortbread (probably the worst biscuits I could eat)

I had managed a syn free day till then, and I have done 60 minutes exercise, so I'm not going to let this ruin my week. Its a blip, and for me I literally have to take this not even one day at a time, but one meal at a time.

Thanks for the tip on green maman you did mention this last night but it was over a year ago so I'll have a look online for some details to remind myself of it.

Apart from my small binge (small for me anyway) my day has gone like this:

Breakfast: Shreddies and milk (HEA and HEB)

Lunch: Pork medallions and sw chips with gravy (syn for gravy, tiny amount)

Dinner: Turkey, new potatoes, egg white, pickled onion and half a plate full of beetroot!

New day tomorrow. Off to bed before i do more damage.

    CP xx

ps..... Big welcome to the newbies, one lost over 9 stone (sorry i forgot who) and that is AMAZING! If you can do that before you can lose what you want to lose again.

  • ......bit late to the party, mind if I join?? I would like to lose 7lbs by the end of February.

I got to target previously with SW then had a baby so just over a stone to shift again. I am unable to get to class this time round unfortunately so hopefully this thread will keep me on track!

    Today the plan is:
B - bacon medallion, poached egg and a slice of wholemeal toast (HEB)
    L - pasta n sauce
D - bolognaise sauce with salad

    Snacks - ham, clementines
    HEA - milk in tea

    Morning all,

STS last night for me - I'll accept that give a couple of blips and having lost cm over weight this week :)

I do have to admit to have had a few chocolate biscuits last night which I instantly regretted :(

new day today - I am hungry but nothing really takes my fancy so I've bought a Satsuma, 2 hard boiled eggs and some melon to eat if I get to them. I'm going to nibble on some morrisons nume apple crisps (3syns for the bag)

Same problem with lunch; I have mugshots at work and a little tin of sketti but I'm going for a walk at lunch so may get a boots meal deal or a salad box or something if I think i'll eat
tea: either sausages (0.5 syn for two asda reduced fat ones) with carrots, brussells, broccoli, pickled onion, beetroot, pickled red cabbage and anything else that takes my fancy or a savoury mince we like to make (uses minestrone soup so its 6 syns for the tin I bought this morning - morrisons own - making it 3 syns for my share) I'll have it with the veg above and maybe a little rice

want to do my dvd tonight if I can
