Oh, beanie, I hope it is only your pride that’s hurt. DH and I had a weekend in Skipton a couple of years ago. When I was trying to take a photo, I tripped and fell; all I wanted to do was save my camera (I didn’t) but so many people including DH rushed to try to help me up, but I just wanted to scramble up in my own time.

Well, tweets, I hope your win has cheered you up a bit.

    Sunday
Breakfast: kippers & tomato, ML vanilla yogurt with banana
    Snack: gingernut (2)
Lunch: hexb tuna mayo with syboes sandwich (1), an orange
    Snack: digestive biscuit (3)
Dinner: 1 ½ beef olive (9), tomato, onion, potato, cauliflower, sf orange jelly ( ½ )
    Snack: hexa cheese & grapes

    Total: 15 ½

I haven't set a final target yet. I started at 21 stone 1lb and a size 26. My weight had never really bothered me. I'd always been the big one in my group of friends so I just got used to being that way! I joined because one of my friends at work joined and I thought I'd tag along. Best decision I ever made! I look back now at photos and just feel really sad. Wish I'd made the decision sooner.

Have gone from a size 26 to a size 16 so far. Current weight is 15 stone 5.5lbs so still feel I have a long way to go.

I haven't set a final target yet. My first interim target was 5 stone loss and I've said 8 stone loss will be my next interim. I don't really know what is realistic still. In my head I'm aiming to be in the 10 stone bracket but I just don't know! I'd love to one day wear a pair of size 10 trousers, so that is what I am working towards!

I'm about 5ft 8 and like you say, I just don't have a clue how I'll feel! At the moment fitting my !!! into size 16 clothes is amazing but now I know that I can achieve that, it makes me wonder how much is realistic! I do get annoyed at people telling me I don't need to lose anymore though. Size 16 is still big!

What clothes size are you at 11 7lb if you don't mind sharing?!

  • That's an amazing weight loss so far MISS TEACH. Well done!

If it will make you feel better BEANIE, I remember seeing a guy in a business suit with briefcase buying a Mr Whippy ice cream at a stall in the middle of a shopping centre and then promptly falling over a bench that he didn't notice because he was licking his ice cream. He was on his own so had no one to share the embarrassment or laugh it off with. I think I would have walked straight to the pub!

My WI is tomorrow. My fingers are crossed. Please please please a loss...

PS thanks for the NSV explanation x
