  • Any room for a newbie in here? I take up a lot less space than I did last year :rotfl:

Joined SW in November 2015 and have currently lost 5stone 9.5lb (Although I've lost more like 7 stone in total from my heaviest - but also gave myself gallstones in the process by drinking the crap they put inside Slim Fast milkshakes!)

I weigh in on a Wednesday and had lost 3.5lb at the last weigh in.

There's always room for a mere slip of a thing!

Well done, that's a fantastic weight loss so far. :T. Are you getting close to target, if not, how much more do you want to lose?

I've tried Slimfast and the Cambridge diet and they just made me ill, they're really not good for you.

Well that's 2 days properly on plan, tomorrow should be the same so I'm hoping Monday's weigh in wont be too much of a shock.

Also had plenty of body magic today - I cleaned the car inside and out, we walked to the club (1km), danced a lot, and walked back. Today's Syns were for 1 brandy and whatever Syns are in banana pancakes which is what we had for breakfast - they were lovely.

What's with all the self sabotage? Is it winter blues? I know I can't resist temptation and if there are biscuits, cakes or chocolate in the cupboard I'd want to eat them so I just don't buy them.

    Have a good Sunday.

Well done, TMW and Miss Teach.

That’s a good positive approach, kathrynha. The procedures will take care of themselves.

I love Malteasers, beanie. I buy the big bag and divide into what would be the fun size amount (5 syns) – that’s about 9. Happy with that.

Hello, Miss Teach, what a fabulous effort you’ve made.

Meant to say, I had a wee NSV the other day. My winter jacket is too big for me – I can turn round inside it and it stays put iyswim. I was going to leave it until next winter but we are going on a “mountain safari” next month ( that sounds grand but it’s just a drive up a mountain in Perthshire to look at wildlife for a couple of hours – present to DH from DGS). Reading the blurb, it said to avoid bright colours and my jacket is bright pink. While we were on Arran there was a sale in the outdoor shop and I got a new Craghopper jacket half price. Happy with that. Then I realised that the jacket I chose was not one but two sizes smaller! It’s neat but not uncomfortable and I did have woollies on when I tried it. I tried the bigger size but it was too big! I was a very happy bunny.

Well done to everyone who is losing. I seem to be on a self destruct spiral. I got lots of chocs for valentines day and have no self control when he brings home chinese takeaway so have been getting stuck in. I am 4lbs heavier than i was 10 tens ago so really need to sort myself out before wi in wed. Will maybe try no syns for a few days and see if it makes any difference.

Well to give you an idea of my self sabotage yesterday I fell in a puddle when I was crossing the road and then to my utter embarrassment I could not get up.My leg was not doing what it needed to do. It was not my Finest shining hour. So then I came home ate chocolate and then later on had a Chinese with a friend.
My self sabotage to a t.

Well done on the nsv Green tiger

    Welcome Miss Teach

I seemed to be on a self sabotage yesterday evening but with only limited bad options in the house I just about stayed within my syns.

Trying to stay positive but not really feeling it.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - yogurt
Lunch - bacon, egg and mushroom
    Dinner - Mexican chicken casserole
    Snacks - cereal bars

    HA - milk
    HB - cereal bars
    Zebras rock
  • MissTeach Welcome :) and well done!

I had one of those days yesterday where you just want something sweet, so I nibbled most of the day, low syn things, half a syn here one and a half there, but ended up having my whole 15 which was not planned, managed the 7 speed foods though :)

Todays plan.... not a clue, Sundays always end up a bit meh...
So far I've had a hifi and a cup of tea. I'm going to my boyfriends later so I'm thinking a pasta n sauce before I go, then it's roast chicken for dinner :)
We were able to find digestive thins yesterday so I'm a happy bunny :) I might pop to m&s for coconut meringues later.
