Sounds like it has been detected early which is good, sending positive vibes your way.

Yes very early thankfully. Once you get symptoms it's generally too late
So sorry to hear of your news Kathryn, but your consultant sounds pretty positive. What are your next steps, do you know yet? Huge hugs xxxx

Don't know fully. Waiting for appointment with consultant to come through, I'm told it will be quick, then on to treatment. Seemingly the tumour is the ideal size to be frozen, which sounds really weird, but I'm told it's a good thing :S

Thanks everyone for your support, it means a lot

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis Kathryna, it is a huge shock even when you're half expecting it. As others have said, you've discovered it early and hopefully it can be treated without too much disruption.

    Sending virtual hugs your way.

  • Big hugs Kathryn (from a fellow Kathryn :D) Glad to hear the nasties have been caught early, keep positive and I hope your treatment goes well. On a happier note well done on SOTW :T:T

Kept within syns yesterday, refused some custard creams with my afternoon cuppa despite OH waving them under my nose  but did succumb to some hula hoops - totally worth it. Wasn't overly keen on my tea it made me feel a bit bleurgh and bloated afterwards, not sure what caused that.

Today has been a better day

    B - banana and a cuppa (wasn't hungry)
L - veg soup with 4 ryvita hexb, ribena light & another cuppa

For tea - making a bolognaise type sauce with some spaghetti minus the mince but added asda reduced fat sausage (much nicer than porky lights IMO), made with peppers, onions, tomatoes - will serve with spring greens which are about to expire

Syns so far: skips 4.5, custard cream 3, sausage 0.5

Sending you a great big hug kathrynha.:A

Can anyone tell me whether Caribbean Pepperpot stew can be frozen please. Website doesn't clarify.

I can't see why not, all the ingredients look freezable to me.

I think I can live without courgettes at that price tweets. Ridiculous!

DH and I don't do Valentine's as such although we have been out together today which was good. Some years I've bought the M&S meal deal but generally that's when it's been at the weekend. I'm busy tonight so nothing special happening here. We're out to lunch tomorrow though so we'll make up for it.:)

I'm going to WI tomorrow (before lunch;)) and was feeling quite positive about it but today is clean jeans day and I'm not so sure. I had a SP lunch to try to help.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: veg and ham omelette with cornichons and beetroot
    D: SW spaghetti Bolognese
    Syns: squirt of syrup, Parmesan

Glad I don't have any custard creams. I only have to open a packet with a :coffee: and me and our Poppy dog would eat the whole packet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: So I wont buy them .
