Put on 1/2lb last night but not too upset as I have lost 13lb in 2017, just 3.5lb to go to goal. Also me and OH voted Couple of the Year for our group (even though he doesn't actually go to the group but he is has been following SW since Jan 1st and has lost 20lb). I feel very motivated.0

Morning all
Had a fabulous night out last night, the food was delicious - tomato stuffed with seafood with Marie rose sauce and salad, asparagus soup, steak in pepper sauce with roast potatoes, broccoli and carrots, strawberry sorbet and coffee with an after eight. A few too many drinks were also consumed!
I wore a fitted dress that comes to just above the knee - not a length I'd usually wear - and received lots of compliments.
Back on plan today and on very low syns and no alcohol. We were going on a boat trip to a market but one of the friends we were going with isn't very well so that's been postponed to next week.
I didn't realise we had so many Kathryns on the thread!
Have a good day everyone.

Lovely words Mrs Ryan.
Mid week weigh in has me up 4lbs in 2 days in one of my massive fluctuations again no doubt.
I'll be pretty peeved if I don't get a loss this week.
Really seems impossible to get anywhere with it right now.
Stick with it. It sounds like the fluctuations aren't that unusual for you, so your hard work will show on the scales in the end.
Also you aren't having an easy time of it at the moment. HugsI didn't realise we had so many Kathryns on the thread!
All the best people are call Kathryn
Either that, or we are all aged between mid 30s and mid 40s when the name was very popular. When I was a Brownie my whole six was called Kathryn, although with various spellings.Zebras rock0 -

Wow, 6 Kathryns and Brown Owl chose to put them in the same Six!
My son is in his mid 30s and when he started school there were six boys in his class with the same name - Andrew.

Well I have been trying the 777 challenge since Monday (7 syns, 7 speeds and 7 water). So far it's going well and is giving me more focus. Hopefully I will bee the benefit next Monday at WI. I drink a lot of water anyway so this part is easy. I'm also vegetarian so that's okay. Was it TETE and ALI-T who were also going to try this?? If so, how's it going??
I haven't started yet and have been on around 30+ syns a day since the weekend. Valentine chocs, weekend drinking, eating and hangovers have put paid to my 777 plan. Will definitely try it though. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -

Think it was easier to have us all together.
Yes, I remember lots of boys called Andrew. Also James was popular, and Sarah and Alison for girlsZebras rock0 -
So I wrote the start of this Monday, then my laptop decided not to play ball and I've only just made it back...Welcome to the thread pixtotts . You remind me of a couple of young women in the group I used to go to, they both went along with their mums who followed the plan to the letter and lost every week, but they weren't quite so willing to give up on the things they liked to do with their 20 something friends. It was fair week and the consultant asked them what treats that would usually involve, the answer was "cheesy chips and cider" so she asked what they would have this time - the answer was "cheesy chips and cider"! :rotfl:
Thankyouand haha that sounds about right! I have to say I'm glad my friends are into buying homes mode now so our going out is more staying in, not that prosecco and pizza are any better... lol.
Mrs_Ryan that sounds like an M&S feast!
greentiger hellothanks for the welcome
I have had a bit of a major fail weekend. I'm writing this then going to calculate my synsI'd say over a weeks worth... oops...It was an early valentines day, and my boyfriend cooked for me, and it was lovely. But so so so bad. Lots of cheese and white bread
... though I don't even like cheese! haha.
... and end of time travel!
I have been pretty good since, actual valentines day was spent with my friends, but the one cooking dropped out, so I made a slimming world ragu pasta bake for everyone which meant I could use some syns on the mini M&S coconut meringues only 7.5 syns for the whole pack! or 0.5 (just under) each. I took them as my cinema snack, we went to see the new 50 shades, brought some home and shared them round so definitely didn't have the full 7.5.
Doing SP today but had a sneaky at home weigh in showing 5lbs on! 5!!! From one day! We have been exercising too Friday, Monday, Tuesday, that's new and I know from when I used to be a daily gym goer mon - fri I'd put on the day after a work out for it to come off the day after, so fingers crossed for weigh in tomorrow...
I'm rambling because I'm cold, and I'm hungry when I'm coldand little sis has gone to tescos and bringing me back spinach and basil to make a green omelet for my lunch.
Basil, spinach, parsley blitzed up and then the eggs broken in with a splash of milk, I don't like eggs, but have 10 chickens so have had to figure out ways to make eggs not taste eggy lol. I then roast some tomato, onion and mushrooms in balsamic vinegar and pop them on top, REALLY good with some goats cheese sprinkled over too...when I have the syns to spare....
I love the idea of the 777 challenge! I'm definitely going to have to give that one a go! I have the problem that I never have enough water, my boyfriend gets quite angry about it, I never used to have a drink until after school, and still I can get to 3 / 4 pm and realised I've had nothing. Unless it's gallons of tea, tea I can manage...
Kathryn - It was Charlotte's for my year and James's in my class of 20 there were 6 Charlotte's and 5 James's. My little sister is a Kathryn, that was because I was named after a great grandma, so mum tried to find a family name for her and immediately ruled out Pamela or Erskine so was left with Catherine but didn't want two C's.... Mind you this was after she tried to call us both Robert when we were born lol
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -
Another Kathryn here :hello:
Ooh how bizarre hello! :hello:greentiger wrote: »Home from Arran. We had a great time despite less than perfect weather, lol. Food was fantastic – but some of it may not have fitted into SW plan. Oh well, back on it tomorrow.
Hope your back is improving, candyapple.
Tons better now thanks, reckon it was crazy hormone week giving it to me with bells onGlad you had a lovely holiday

My next door neighbour when I was younger was a Catherine. But other than that I'd never met a Kathryn until about 3 years ago through work. I always think it's an unusual spelling and I get really excited when someone actually spells it right :rotfl: had a lot of bizarrely spelled Christmas cards in the past
It's a STS for me again this week, which I'm fine with as I've been less than angelic this week. Just back from a pub lunch where I had a massively off plan half pizza with wedges and salad. It was beautiful at the time but I'm suffering now and feeling bloaty as hell. On the peppermint tea and diluted juice I think for the rest of the day. Back on the wagon tomorrow
Whoops don't know why some of those haven't quoted properly :mad:0
