There was a kathryn in my sons class as well as 5 George's. when a new boy started his name was George as well 😱. Saying that my son was the only Leigh. I've worked at the school 20+ years and never met another Leigh/Lee. My dear old Mum could never spell it right either, she always put the i before e rule 😂.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I'm beginning to feel left out because I'm not called Kathryn!:rotfl:

I went to WI this morning and STS. I'm relieved as it means I'm still in target range but sadly at the top which isn't where I like to be. Can't complain though as I last went to WI on January 5th so there have been a lot of off plan meals since then but obviously a lot of n plan ones too.:) The week coming up isn't looking too easy but I'll try to be really good in between. We've booked a short break next month and we're going away for Easter so I can see a lot of juggling coming up.

Tried a new group today just for the convenience of the day and time and it was OK. The consultant positively encouraged people to share recipes they'd enjoyed through the week. I'll go there again when a Wednesday suits me better than Thursday. Friendly lot but usual culprits gossiping loudly throughout though.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion, beetroot and cornichons
D: Austrian ham hash with cauli and cabbage
    Syns: none planned:)

Stick with it. It sounds like the fluctuations aren't that unusual for you, so your hard work will show on the scales in the end.
Also you aren't having an easy time of it at the moment. Hugs

All the best people are call Kathryn :)
Either that, or we are all aged between mid 30s and mid 40s when the name was very popular. When I was a Brownie my whole six was called Kathryn, although with various spellings.

Wrong with my age I am coming up to 59 ;)

Just think would have been 1 year from retiring but no 7 now :(

Well I'm writing this week off! Too much off plan food and too much wine so definitely expecting a gain at WI tomorrow morning!

Today, however, is back on plan!

B - porridge with mixed frozen fruit - melon (2 types); strawberries, raspberries, & grapes
L - SW quiche & salad - eggs, LO roast chicken, leek, shallot, mange tout, baby sweetcorn, tomato, 2 Laughing Cow triangles (2 syns), lettuce, beetroot, pickled onions (think I've remembered everything!)
D - Lasagne (2 syns for 1/4 pack white sauce mix)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - will definitely have some - probably the full 15

I'm having a treat tonight before I crack ............not sure what though but there will be a gin or vodka involved.

I'm in the Kathryn age group but only one Catherine in my year at school.

Im a Jane...........................that's another name was popular and has died a death too!
  • Lurker here although hoping to get on plan properly in the next week & would like to join the thread properly. Also a Kathryn! (Mid/late 40's). I'm amazed how many others spell it this way too as it's the more unusual version.
Have done SW before and then life got busy and I lost the plot but am fed up of being a short fat dumpling so need to get my head round it. One of my daughters is doing it so we just need to organise ourselves...

Same here Tweets, I'm 59 now and when I started working I expected to get my state pension at 60, and as there's 4.5 years between me and DH we would have retired close together, me in September 2017 and him 6 months later. Well I won't be getting my state pension until 2023 but I'm a rebellious sort and I'm giving up work this autumn. :j
