Bit surprised but I lost 1 lb Considering how I lost the plot this week I am very pleased with that. But need to knuckle down now as I am a bit behind where I wanted to be and if I had been 100% I wouldn't have minded but room for improvement I am not going to carry this extra weight around on my hols.
Haven't been able to keep up with all the news this week but looking at the chart there have been some great losses again last week well done and hugs to those who need one. Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

Thank you for the welcomes, I am just trying to do some meal-planning for next week at the moment although not feeling very inspired... I shall look back on here for some ideas
I can't afford to go to a group at the moment but think I can get just as much motivation chatting on this thread

Can I join you all in MSE SW?
I have been following SW for two weeks now. I bought a family planner diary today, which I am going to use to meal plan and record any snacks. I will also add my excercise (training for the moonwalk) and enter my weight etc.0 -

Evening all
Still on the subject of names, well I'm known as Anne, which is very common but it's actually my middle name - my first names is Lois, yes, just like my user name. It was (and still is) very rare and I hated it when I was a child because people never pronounced it properly (and still don't). I adopted my middle name from the age of 10, much to the disgust of my parents! Someone on the thread said my user name was very like their real name and I've forgotten who it was, and I've been wondering ever since if they are another Lois...?
Lois is still my 'official' first name so if I get a phone call from the bank or have a hospital appointment they will ask for me by name and you'd be surprised at the struggle people have to say Low-iss, and the reason for my username is because I'm always saying Lois, just like Lois Lane - Superman's girlfriend....? *shrug*
The theory about fat cells is right, but I understood that some of us are born with more than others and if you have Liposuction the cells are removed and cannot return so although you can still put on weight, it won't be in the area that you've had Liposuction.
If anyone thinks losing weight is pointless because it will just return, I really believe it is possible to lose weight and keep it off and I think slimming world is the way to do it. Here on this thread we have several target members who have maintained for years and I know of several people in real life who have done it too.

:T on your loss denise . Maybe it was being good before that caught you upLantanna. Watched the super slimmers thing.
So basically unless you eat very little or exercise excessively you are not going to keep the weight off.
Profoundly depressing I think. Can I join you all in MSE SW?

Stayed on plan today except for lunch. Although I had a single scoop of ice cream all the rest could have been SW friendly but being a restaurant probably had syns (oil in cooking etc).
Back on plan until Monday evening when out to eat again.
Enjoy your mini break lantanna . Good to see the parents recognise you need a rest.0 -
Tweets and Denise, the fudge was ok, but I’d rather have had a Fry’s Cream. At least it’s out of the way now
Well done, losers!
Hello, jackomdj.

Well I managed yesterday's 2 meals out okay. Really proud of myself.
Lunch I had jacket potato and beans. No speed but all free.
Dinner I had chicken rogan josh and boiled rice. SW book says lamb rogan josh is 10 syns so chicken I am assuming is similar or even less because it's a leaner meat and I only ate about half of it. Also ate a colleagues mushrooms and side salad from his starter because he didn't want it so I got in some speed.
Other than some milk in drinks that's all I ate yesterday as I wasn't feeling hungry, so other than not enough speed, it shouldn't be too bad for the weight.
Today's plan:
Breakfast - yogurt and fruit
At hospital this morning so will have cereal bars in bag incase I want a snack
Lunch - don't think I'll be home so another meal out. Hopefully another jacket potato option
Dinner - shepherds pie with butternut squash instead of potato
HA - milk
HB - cereal barsZebras rock0 -
