I've sent a message to the forum people about that message but no response yet. It's infuriating but if you can remember to do copy and paste then you won't lose the post. Incidentally it doesn't happen on my phone.

Glad it's not just me that topped up the Speed in goulash. What do you add ATT , other than courgettes?;)

I've never bought quark. I don't like yogurt and it seems too similar. I always have cottage cheese in though as it's one of my favourite toppings for a JP and lovely with chilli.

Holidays are a great goal for weightloss whiplashy . You could lose loads more by October. :)

Thanks Maman and great that you've sent a message to the forum people, I was going to do the same but will hang back to see if they respond to you. I was wondering if it was because I had done a few posts in quick succession and whether it was one of their security measures for spam etc?

For the goulash I always add mushrooms and courgettes as a bare minimum as they are my fave but then it's whatever else I have in so usually also lots more peppers and onions than the recipe asks for, spinach, celery, mange tout and I sometimes add carrots and spring onions too. I know pots aren't speed but sometimes add some of those in too. I add two big tins of toms and often make a double batch for HM freezer meals as it goes lovely with anything from salad, to rice to pots and other veg. Sometimes have it with gnocci too as think it's worth the 2 syns for a really hearty meal when you're in that frame of mind

Hi Shala and congrats on that great loss you had this week :j
Its a gain of 1.5 pounds for me this week i'm afraid so totally wiped out recent losses and back to square one

I'm going to try and post my menus daily this week to see if you good folk can spot anything

    Today
B: bacon and egg and roasted tom sarnie HEB and herbal tea
L: spaghetti cake made with eggs, spinach, onions, mushrooms, celery and bacon. I used a HEA cheese when I made it but it made 8 portions so not sure how to count it and may turn a blind eye to one portion;) and I had it with cottage cheese
D: fridgeraiders pasta - totally forgotten I had a stir fry mix in fridge and as I've loaned my wok out recently I've made it up as I went along - fried up the cabbage, carrots, broccoli, onions and pepper and added shallots and mushrooms and garlic. Then added passata and quark and i'll have it with spaghetti

Snacks: NAS apple juice, water, black coffee
HEA shop bought latte + 2 syns

    Regards
    ATT

Same here, I rarely use under 10 Syns. What is a peanut hottie, like a hot drink? Yes this is exactly why I like my Options of an evening - 2 Syns and it lasts much longer than a Freddo or whatever.
    ..
it is peanut butter flavoured hot chocolate and tastes lovely. Am going to use it in baking and see what low syn delights we can conjour up.

  • Morning, quick post from me, busy day today. I hate Tuesdays!

    B - Muller Light, apple
D - Quorn chilli from freezer labelled as 'super speedy' but can't remember what's in it, with a couple of boiled potatoes as they're too small for jackets
T - Meatball minestrone stew from freezer, sans the horrible meatballs
    HEA - Milk
HEB - ? Alpen Light or nuts probably
Syns - Sugar in coffee (3/4), Hot choc (2), parmesan on chilli (1.5) = 7/8ish

Well done to all the losers this week and thanks Shala for the chart as always. I'm loving reading it and seeing a loss by my name every week (better make the most of that til Friday I fear!) xx
