  • Congrats to all the losers :T

Used my syn's for today on a KitKat chunky cookie dough watching the rugby. Thoroughly enjoyed the rugby. We (Ireland) slaughtered Italy :D and then I won a personalised 4 finger KitKat off the one I was eating. Not sure which I was more pleased with, the rugby or the free KitKat :rotfl:

My arthritis has been playing up really bad this week :( I got a gym ball in Aldi this morning. Hoping it might be easier to exercise with that. Haven't a clue how to use it though so I'll have to have a look on YouTube and see if I can find some guidance. I have an appointment with my Rheumatologist on Thursday so I might wait until after that. Don't fancy having to explain injuring myself with it to her :rotfl:

WI in the morning. Hoping to be out of the 16 stone bracket. That will be the second stone bracket I got out of since the start of January. I had a sneaky look at the scales 2 days ago and I had barely achieved it. Hopefully that will still be the case.

Hugs to all that need them :)

    Total lost 1st 3.5lbs :j Week 4
  • Well done from me as well Shala!

Well I lost 2.5lbs today and finally reached the 2 stone loss mark ...I'm so pleased but I know it's only because I've been swimming 3 times this week....otherwise I'd have struggled to lose 1/2lb!

Like the idea of half a chocolate hifi/ salted caramel hifi ....might give it a go!

Not sure how this week is going to go - mum had a fall yesterday but she didn't say anything until today so I might be on daughter duty rather than swimming duty but she's more important than any swimming

The scales seemed to like it too as I was -4 lbs today.

    Great news haylarulu!:T
Have you tried the Princes mackerel in mustard sauce? It's yum (and free)! DH had some this week and I had a taste so it's on my list for a lunch.

ETA: :T on your loss gettingtheresometime. You might be right about the swimming helping but often exercise can hinder weightloss to begin with so you must have done something right. Hope your mum's OK.:)

Fingers crossed to seeing new numbers on the scales whiplashy.:)

Considering you've had no appetite all week Kathryn, I think you can allow yourself the Haribo.:)

The Delia goulash was a big success. Thanks for the recommendation ATT. DH loved it and I've got a small portion left. That will definitely go on the meal plan again.:)

We'll actually look forward to MOTD for a change tonight greentiger although it's always depressing seeing 'our' players with other teams. Apparently Mane was interviewed at Spurs but they wouldn't meet his wage demands. Greedy but**er! Have a good time in Arran. :)

denise , syns online says 13.5 for 100g of duck with skin  I can't believe that.

We've not had dinner yet but the goulash smells good.:drool:

Yikes! That's nearly a day's syns gone then! Will definitely need to rein it in during the week as I've had plenty of wine syns this evening!

I've been going swimming for a while now but since the new year gave struggled in getting up to go before work so I tried a new tack this week and went after walking the dog in the evening ; stops me picking as well I suppose!

I think as well the drinking app that I was told about on here has helped - getting nagged by my phone to drink certainly works.

Has anyone tried the Greek stew which is one of Tescos recipe cards? Sounds nice but wondered what it tasted like.

As for mum she's a stubborn old mare; I wanted to take her to a&e ths morning but she wouldn't go - when I spoke to her tonight she agreed to see how she felt in the morning. Time to get tough with her me thinks

I like the look of the Greek stew as it makes a change to have lamb. As it stands, even using frylight it would be about 16 syns although you could use red wine stock instead of 'real' wine. The mustard mash is very synful with butter too. Worth trying once to see what you think.:)

Ive had 2 days off plan, out drinking and for an indian meal and then despite my plans to have a free fry up yesterday to fight off the hangover i ate copius amounts of chocolate and crisps, then the fry up. Was very impressed with the heck chicken sausages. Back on plan today but will need a lot of saintly days to see any progress on weigh in wednesday.

well done to all the losers.
