    Hi all
Am writing this from my extremely comfy hotel bed :)
I've had no appetite for a few days as have had a cold but my appetite decided to come back with a vengeance on the train earlier- my stomach growled so loudly it was drowning out my music :D
I had a fab NSV- when I arrived the shopping centre was still open so I went for a wander. I went into Primark and picked up two pairs of reduced jeans, and a gorgeous blue checked tunic that I loved but it was that kind of clingy material that I usually avoid. I thought these are never going to fit as I'm still wearing my size 24's but they fit fine and look great :) was really pleased!
I've eaten my body weight in salad today :D I came out of Primark and into the M&S food hall where I bought salad, ham, fruit, veg crudit!s, a spinach and egg protein pot, water, popcorn and sushi. Stuffed myself silly and 6.5 syns for the lot :)
Getting sleepy now and early start tomorrow- will head to Waitrose for brekkie before the train, will probably go for fruit and yoghurt as mum has filled the fridge with SW friendly home made treats for when I get home. :)
    Night all x

Mrs Ryan I am so impressed. It would be so easy when travelling and being away to just eat rubbish, but you're doing ace with all the healthy choices you are making.

  • Really gutted to have gained 1 pound this week . Followed the plan exactly as last week. Have counted every single syn and have not gone over my allowance if 70 for the week.
    Am really gutted!!
  • Toomuchworry try not to be too disheartened. I do know that's easier said than done. I've been extremely lucky this time around not to be in your position yet, but over the years on various plans I've had a bad WI after sicking to plan and thought.. sod it and then eaten my weight in chocolate and takeaway. Please try not to do that, stay positive. Be kind to yourself, you've still lost over half a stone. Our bodies are strange and complicated, it may be just one of those weeks it thinks its a camel and holds on to more water. Stick with it and I'm sure you'll have a good loss next week.
    Good luck

I'm sure we've all experienced weeks like that Toomuchworry. It's so difficult, but your hard work this week will show on the scales, even if you have to wait another week to see it. Hormones, fluid, what you've eaten in the 24 hours before weigh in can all effect it, so try not to get too disheartened.

    My plan for today:
    Breakfast - yogurt and orange
    Lunch - bacon salad
Dinner - Pasta with some sort of tomatoey sauce

  • Hi all,

KATHRYN and HAYLA, thanks for being so encouraging to TOOMUCHWORRY. I have been trying really hard this week but a sneaky look at the scales showed a small increase so I am taking heart from your kind words to TMW. The support on here really is lovely. Hopefully by WI on Monday I will have reversed the little gain. I'd even be happy with a STS!

Kathryn, I hope you are recovering after the op and looking after yourself x

Have a good day everyone x

    Morning all
WI with STS, amazed really after such a stressful week! Got our 'unofficial' OFSTED result ( not allowed to broadcast to parents yet as it could be turned around 😳) but it begins with O 🤗:T. We had celebratory nibbles Thursday which included wine, Krispy Kreme doughnuts (how they call them doughnuts I don't know, looked disgusting to me) and loads of other stuff I couldn't eat :D. Had a few (handfuls) of peanuts instead. :o
Needed comfort food this week but luckily my comfort food is porridge :D didn't measure it though :o. Usually have an sp meal the night before wi but was so tired had porridge quiet late too (9pm) didn't get up til 10am though :p
Now forcing myself to go for a shower, no energy :(
Have a good weekend all :A

Oh and shopping wise, I don't buy/eat much fruit (intolerant to most) do eat onions and tomatoes with nearly everything though. Don't buy cereal bars either or mullers, did at beginning but prefer activia.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

We've had the snow overnight but melted now. Still sleeting on and off. Have been to butchers and now have plenty of meat in the new freezer. Just need to sort out the inside freezer and decide what is going in the outside one as it is absolutely chocka so don't think it's working every efficiently at the moment!

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon & mushroom omelette
L - prawn stirfry, including managetout, baby corn, kale, spring onions etc, will maybe bung in some frozen spinach if I can find it in the freezer, LOL!
D - duck breast, roast potatoes, roasted onions & carrots, spicy cabbage & cauliflower

    HEA - milk as usual
HEB - not sure but probably Ryvita, quark, ham & cucumber
    Syns - weekend wine:D

  • I'm still here and still in target range. Off to Tenerife next weekend so am having an on plan week to drop to the bottom of range if poss at weigh in Friday.
Lasagne and salad for tea - can hardly wait!
