    Afternoon all

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Kethryna for SOTW.:T Hope everything goes well today.

Another serial dieter here and I agree that losing weight gets harder the more often you try do it. My theory is that the first time you start everything changes but if you stop some of the changes remain (like drinking skimmed milk for example) so next time you start you're not changing everything. My current thinking is to use SW as a guideline to healthy eating and it has become my way of life. I break a few rules and I'm definitely taking the scenic route but the weight trend overall is downward.

Welcome to the thread Mrs Motivated, join in the chat and ask about anything, someone always has the answer.

After all the news reports about veg shortages in the Uk, I haven't been able to buy my favourites- green beans - for 2 weeks here in Spain. I usually buy a kilo every week as I like them with lots of different things. I bought frozen ones today but I bet they're not as nice as the fresh ones.

    Have a good day.

Totally agree Lois, My food for the last 4 years hasn't been that different either on or off SW or how its cooked.

    We shall just plough on.

Forgot to mention I had a NSV this morning, haven't had a jumper on since after xmas coz it was hideously tight looking from the back and was exposing my stomach when I walked.

Its just been washed and I put it on today with the trousers I had on the last time and its much looser at the back - now not looking hideous and not riding up to expose my belly!

Some great losses coming in this week. Well done Kathrynha for SOTW and good luck for tomorrow. I think it's good that you're still planning even if you're not managing to eat it all at least you're thinking about it! Beans on toast would be a good choice for tea tomorrow when you get back from hospital and is on plan! Nothing you can do about the horrible hospital food at lunchtime - I feel for you.

Went shopping this morning and Tesco's had masses of salad and no signs saying people were limited to x number of them! Didn't actually need any today as still got half left.

    Having a Green day today:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
    L - LO carrot & lentil soup
D - SW homity pie followed by rice pudding. Will probably have some grapes & pineapple with it. I know neither are Speed foods but it's all I've got at the moment!

HEA1 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEA2 - Almond milk for rice pudding & cheese sauce
    HEB1 - toast
    HEB2 - cheese

    Syns - cornflour 1

Need to keep syns low as used more yesterday than originally planned after DH opened a very nice bottle of wine!

    :T well done WJN.
Glad that the syn bank worked for you but be careful this week that the weekend doesn't catch you up. Flexi synning is different I think. It's what SW call going off plan/having a load of syns deliberately and then getting straight back on plan next day. It's what they suggest for special occasions.

Pleased that topboy's birthday meal went well, topgirl. Can we have a recipe for the leek and bacon soup please?

Welcome mrsmotivated. Keep posting and good luck with your 1 stone shiny.:)

:T on your NSV lantanna and pleased to hear your mum is a bit better. I think we're being too hard on ourselves about small losses. Has anyone seen the WW advert at the moment? It's advertising lose 10lbs in 8 weeks and get a £40 shopping voucher. That's based on WW claim to lose between 1 and 2 lbs per week. Compared with that we do really, really well.

ruby, do you mean you'd like to lose another half stone to get to target? Even at target SW works within a 6 lbs window so, based on that target members are always yo-yoing. I think it's normal but obviously affected by any extra syns. Now things are a bit more settled for you perhaps you can chip away at it.

I'm out dancing this evening so there's a bit of Body Magic. It's been a beautiful day here, really felt like the promise of spring in the air.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, ham, fried egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP wit cottage cheese, spring onions, beetroot and pickled cabbage
D: salmon, new potatoes, mushrooms, green stuff (asparagus, mange tout, broccoli)
Syns: Just checked and there's a half in the (marinated) salmon but I won't lose sleep over it!;)

Very odd. A security check came up when I did my last post saying 'I am not a robot'. Hope it's not some sort of bug. Anyone else seen it?

    Me neither.

Change to syns for today! DH bought some crumpets when we were shopping and couldn't resist one so 5 syns plus another 1 for low fat spread on it.

So that's 6 syns today as the cornflour wasn't needed for the homity pie:T Still more syns than I wanted to use. Need to go back and check my syns for this week to see how many I can have tomorrow!

    Evening all
Thanks for your kind words. Not a good day today :( had an accident last night (nothing major- just not looking where I was going!) and have broken my toe so am laid up on sofa. Also think I'm getting a cold :( I've just ordered a curry as I can't be doing with cooking. I've had no syns today and I've ordered a lamb rogan josh at 10 syns, with free rice and salad. Ordered a naan bread for OH but it's cheese and I'm allergic so won't be tempted :) my lovely consultant bless her said she didn't blame me but I had made a wise choice and she was proud of me and to enjoy my curry. The place I've ordered it from is just at the top of my road and does the most beautiful curries so I'm looking forward to it. It's taking a while to deliver but I can't get my shoes on so I have to wait :D
A parcel arrived this morning with 4 boxes of HiFi bars! They shall be much appreciated and enjoyed.
Also has anyone seen the piece that SW are suing Asda over the Slimzone meals and they're telling their members not to eat them? I have one in the freezer and I'm not about to chuck it away!
