Don't get down heartened Mrs Ryan. We are all different, and lose weight differently, especially when medical issues are effecting us too. You will get there. Hugs

    Hi everyone

There's some great losses coming in and PerthLady, well done you, an excellent first week :j

Mrs Ryan, I feel for you but take heart, we are all different, it took me nearly 2 years to lose 2.5 stone and I had so many weeks of STS then a half pound here and there. I agree it can be so disheartening when you compare yourself to others and there were plenty of times I wondered whether it was worth it, particularly those weeks when I had been angelic. I'm currently 5 pound over target (or 2 out of target :p ) after a three week holiday in December sent me awry. I've only lost 1.5 pounds since Jan the 1st and I know my consultant must think i'm not trying (which makes me ) but I just keep plugging away at it...

Maman, did you make your goulash? How did you like the kalettes? Sorry if you've already said, I'm not fully back up to date on the thread yet. I've also finally managed to get the BGTY burgers and soss's after them being unavailable in my store for a while

Lantanna, you're doing a great job looking after your mother and all the other demands on your time so hope you feel better soon

    Regards

It wasn’t as bad as I had feared but still +1.2lbs. I’m going away to Arran (if the ferries are running) from Sunday until Tuesday, so that’ll be a challenge.

Thanks, Denise, for that lemon curd recipe. Looks good. I’ll copy and save it. Good that it will make a small quantity too. I make mine in the microwave and then freeze some, because with eggs and butter it doesn’t keep for long.

Great stuff, ilts (and DH), Cazzaswfc, summerlady, lantanna, ruby, TG, PerthLady (fandabbydozy), Msm, att and Whiplashy

Thanks Greentiger. Pleased your weigh-in wasn't as bad as you feared and wishing you a great time in Arran. Not somewhere I've been before but heard good reports.

I've made the lemon curd twice and did it in the microwave, it worked well even if the first time some did spit and stick to the inside of my microwave - when trying to get it off I thought it would be better than any wallpaper paste you can buy :rotfl:I think if I did it again I would try in in the pan as felt it was getting away from me a bit in the mike IYKWIM

OMG, the Big O! Will be thinking of you tie

Try to take heart MrsR .A pound a week is 10 pounds in 10 weeks and you did eat out at the hotel. If you gave up you'd probably gain and be even more cross with yourself.:)

I haven't tried the goulash yetATT. Now I've got the beef in I've used up the peppers. I'll put it on my list. We liked the kalettes, very pretty but wouldn't rave about them. :T on your loss.

Fingers crossed for Wednesday Kathryn . You'll feel better when you know what you're dealing with. All this waiting and worrying is draining. Big hugs. :)
