Had my wi today and lost 1lb with, the week I've had, was pretty good for me.
Hoping to reach the 2 stone mark next week - so would need a 2.5 lb loss.
Not really motivated at the mo .....if temptation comes knocking I'm finding I'm answering lol0 -
2.5 lbs off for me today. Very happy but now just a little tiny bit annoyed that I had a chinese takeaway last weekend as I could probably have lost that bit more to get my 10% off. Hey ho that will hopefully come next week and I've got everything crossed for another 5 off over the next 3 weeks.
Enjoy your weekends everyone and hugs to Kathrynha take care of yourself2019 Weight Loss Goals

Hi perth lady, i live near your neck of the woods  but am going to classes and find them really motivating. Have you looked on pinterest for slimming world versions of cake? Lots of the recipies are american measurements but some really low syn deserts. Good luck with your journey.
Hi ali-t, will try and have a look! I love pinterest so could have a good nose on there and see what I can find, thanksThere's a website called Pinch of Nom that has lots of SW friendly recipes including one for jam and coconut cake that looks absolutely scrummy - the sort of thing you used to get for school dinner with custard.
The recipe uses coconut flour which makes it lower in Syns than standard flour.

Well my "Friday night only for treats" lasted til about 4pm. Currently in the oven is an M&S roast pork ready meal with gravy and buttery mash that my Gran bought me specially after I said I didn't have time on Sunday to go to hers for lunch. I've been for the last few weeks and it's delicious but not on plan and crucially makes me go off plan for the rest of the day. So it's not that I don't have time to go tomorrow it's more that I don't want to eat there, but didn't want to say as much for fear of hurting her feelings (and her not understanding the concept of gravy Syns, etc). So I took the flaming meal and just can't bring myself to throw it away so I'm having it tonight with a little drink and some chocolate and starting afresh tomorrow including a 10k run. Sorry for the long rant, just feeling a bit frustrated!
I was in Tesco earlier and the whole tomato section was completely bare! Iceberg lettuce I don't even like, and courgettes I can cope with, but I do like my cherry toms! Please tell me mushrooms aren't in any danger because I honestly don't know what I'll eat for speed otherwise
Right off to have my meal which I probably won't even like!(I sound so ungrateful don't I?)

I stand corrected, it was a very tasty ready meal indeed
Don't wanna know how many Syns...

Well done all you losers!:T
tete there must be some panic buying going on. Plenty of veg in Aldi and Sainsbury's yesterday including tomatoes. I think it's a shame that they don't sell homegrown seasonal produce cheaply as I'd be happy to eat with the seasons.
My team were so woeful today I started to understand the concept of comfort eating. I called into the Co-op and was really fancying s Cornish pasty but I resisted
I put a chicken curry in the SC today and hope we'll enjoy it. It's roughly the Iceland jalfrezi recipe with some extra Speed. I've also prepped braised red cabbage to cook for the freezer.
Today's EE plan :
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs. HEB toast, HEA milk
L: JP with cottage cheese and picked red cabbagechicken jalfrezi. pilau rice, SW chips
Syns: fun size Crunchie, pilau and wine syns0 -
Evening everyone
Just had a very sweet NSV- tried my awards night dress on and I can see a visible difference. Last time I tried it cut painfully into my arms and stomach. It no longer cuts into my arms and although it's a still a little snug on the stomach it's not cutting in. I've lost 10lbs so far, I wanted to lose 21lbs in total but I'm thinking now I may go for a 2 stone loss- there's time! I feel like I've eaten rubbish today- painfully aware of the lack of speed
Today's menu:
B: Chocolate orange recipe from this month's SW mag (2 satsumas, and a tbsp of Choc Shot- 2 syns)
L: Naked Noodle Chow Mein (1 syn) John West Moroccan tuna light lunch (1 syn)
T: SW burger in HEXB wholemeal roll with a HEXA cheese slice and raw red onion, wedges (1/2 a syn for oil) rocket, yellow and green peppers, cherry tomatoes and more red onionraspberries and Light and Free yoghurt
S: 4 crackerbreads with ham (4 syns) Wotsits (4 1/2)
Syns: 13*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
