Wow Abbafan your total weight loss is amazing and you are so close to target.
A gain is fine when you've had meals out and been ill. Hope the antib's kick in soon.

  • I'd hoped my mushrooms would be unaffected as I know they grow in the autumn in my garden and seem to enjoy the rain. Maybe there'll be a bumper crop!

Re. breakfasts, I've recently bought Cheerios and Weetabix as I was getting bored of porridge and yoghurts for breakfast - 40g of Cheerios is what I'd consider a normal portion and you get two Weetabix. I don't really eat granola but I do have some Dorset Cereals Simply Nutty Muesli - 35g is HEB.

Line drawn after treat night Friday and Saturday. Today:

    B - 2 Weetabix
D - Austrian Hash (Bacon, leeks, carrots, spuds, onion, mushrooms) with a poached egg
T - Pesto pasta (Bacon, red onion, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes)
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Weetabix
Syns - Sugar in coffee and on Weetabix (5), extra milk (1), Pesto (1.5) = 7.5

That's a lot of bacon in one day isn't it? I'm trying to both use up fresh food and make sure I have something packed-lunch-able for tomorrow as well, so needs must.

Also going to make a batch of spag bol to use the ingredients I had bought for last night's tea before being scuppered by my well meaning granny!

    Enjoy your Sunday all xxx

That's great wiz. I'm delighted for you!:T I think (provided you don't go off plan:naughty:) you've made a difference since you realised you like quite a lot of Speed fruits as well as the veg you make yourself eat.:D And keeping a bit under maximum syns some days gives leeway for any accidental errors.

moneysaverme, 2lbs isn't a bad loss but do post your menus if you're unsure and we'll all have a look and see if we can help.

Good to see you having a plan kathryna. I hope the family appreciate your efforts.:)

After today, I've got a good clear week coming up and I'm looking forward to it. I'm thinking I may go to WI on Thursday if I 'feel' within target range. Even if I don't it'll be worth £5 to keep myself on track. Since being at target I tend to go to WI about once a month.

abbafan, I took weeks and weeks to lose the last few pounds to target but you'll get there in the end!

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: probably a veggie omelette and pickles
D: roast pork, SW roast parsnips and potatoes, red cabbage, cauli, swede mash and trying kalettes for the first time
Syns: squirt of syrup, HM gravy, wine syns:D
  • Hi all

lovely sunny day here, always makes me feel happier, so I am planning a walk up the hills. I am cooking a pulled pork (sw) in the slow cooker, hoping it is going to mellow somewhat as it tastes v hot and spicy at the mo

Just a heads up, not sure if it has already been mentioned but I signed up for the Iceland Bonus card and they email you an opt in for Slimming World emails.

So far they seem to be emailing me an offer to do with SW products every week and I have had a £3. off and a £1.50 off. They give you a voucher at the till to be used on the next shop.

Hugs to all that need them and well done to the losers and the STS :)

Well done Wiz - that's an amazing loss! I could do with a loss like that this week, LOL! Can't see it happening though.

    Today's plan:

    B - SW fry up
    L - LO pasta & aubergine stew
D - boiled and roasted gammon, roast potatoes, carrots & onions, braised red cabbage (your post reminded me to get it from the freezer Maman

    HEA - milk
HEB - may have some toast or Ryvita later
Syns - 2 Laughing Cow cheese triangles (2 syns)

Keeping syns low again as have had quite a few since WI on Thursday.

  • Hi again,

Well the chocolate oats was quite nice but far too much. The recipe used 40 g of oats so I've put half in the fridge. Had it with mango which was lovely. You have to try these things don't you?!

JOEDENISE, is your aubergine stew a SW recipe??

Thanks MAMAN for the help, I appreciate your support. Hopefully tomorrow will see a loss. I will be happy with slow and steady weight loss. Gone are the days when I tried stupid diets for a quick fix.

Tonight will be either aubergine moussaka or veggie lasagne. I'll see which I fancy later.

Just portioned up the red cabbage after cooking last night. We've got some for dinner and 6 servings in the freezer.:money:
  • 2lbs off
Happy with that as I stuck 100% to plan. Only thing I did different was to have a weekly allowance for syns . My allowance was 70 which allowed me a bit of flexibility and worked for me.

Now, I know that this is a 'after the horse has bolted' scenario but had lunch out at morrisons unexpectedly today.
I did not choose wisely , I will admit, however, if anyone on here would be kind enough to look on the SW app to see how much syn damage there is in a cheese and bacon toastie I would be grateful. I have estimated 35 .
But have purely plucked that figure from nowhere!
