Well done, maman, for not allowing your team to upset your plans – that’s a bigger win!

Have you tried the syn free lemon curd? Recipe below
3 tbsp of canderel
grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
2 large eggs
2oz very low fat fromage frais
Whisk lemon juice and eggs together, add rind and sweeetner, place in bowl over saucepan of simmering water, stir until thickened.
Remove from heat and whisk in fromage frais until smooth.
Pour into a jar and keep cool.
At least it used to be Free but now I suppose it needs to be synned @ 1.5 syns for the lot (now SW expect people to syn sweetner)

Lemon curd recipe sounds lovely Denise, i'll add it to the front page
Forgot to say yesterday, I tried the Linda McCartney pulled pork burger for lunch it was really nice for 1 syn each. Unfortunately I can't eat the rosemary onion sausages anymore as they really hurt my tummy, so thought i'd try this instead. Any one else tried them?

:T to Kathryn and FE.
Hopefully test results will be fine K.:)
FE, I think is the best you've stuck to plan for a while. Well done!
You're likely to lose weight just because you've changed they way you eat drastically BUT...I'd suggest you eat far more than you're having today. Breakfast is fine although you could have a HEB of wholemeal toast. Lunch is no more than a snack. You're likely to get hungry long before dinner and then start snacking. For dinner you could have rice or noodles with your stir fry and they can be free. If you're happy with your meals then plan in snacks to keep you away from the biscuit tin! Many people keep syns until the evenings for something to look forward to or (and this is unofficial) save them for weekends. HTH.
I'm out for supper this evening. I've looked at the menu and there's very little SW friendly. At the moment I'm thinking of chicken on saut!ed potatoes and roast veg. There'll be syns in oil but probably better than pie and chips!;)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: ham with bubble & squeak and picklesas above
Syns: squirt of syrup and whatever in the pub
Back on it seriously tomorrow.:)
Thanks for the advice and you were quite right I did end up snacking
Dh and I weighed in yesterday morning and dh lost 5lb and I lost 4lb and I think I have eaten more than I ever have done before and it has made me realise just how many biscuits I eat
I love reading what everyone else is eating as it gives me some ideas
Hugs to all those that need one and well done on your losses xOne cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0 -
-1.5 lbs for me this week. Was a little disappointed. The weight seems to be shifting a lot slower this time around. But if my calculations are right I think I might have hit my target for the challenge so can't be too disappointed.
Thanks for all the suggestions for breakfast. I'm a creature of habit but I'll definitely be trying out some of them. I love porridge but it does get a bit boring after a while.
Congrats to all the losers this week :j
I can't remember the name, sorry, but someone mentioned that sweetner now needs to be synned  Haven't been syning it and I use it multiple times a day! I use the little tablet clicker ones. What should I be syning them as?Back on the slimming world wagon 04.01.18
Total lost 1st 3.5lbs :j Week 40 -
Just weighed in lost 4 pounds
Really pleased as my motivation was taking a dive, felt I've been picking at things over the pastfew days. Thankfully the planning I've done for work lunches and breakfasts has had an impact. In addition I think my bodies caught up with those weeks where I was 100% on plan but only lost 1 pound.
Hope I settle in for 2 pounds a week for the rest of this month for a nice steady healthy weight loss.MFW 2017 No 41 £835.79/£1000
