DH and I went to London on Saturday and when we came back DD had cleaned and tidied the entire front room :j. She is such a little angel :A (but not too little to be left on her own, so no need to call social services:rotfl:)

We need to do a tip run and a bonfire at some point - got lots of wood to burn and even more if my dad consents to my boyfriend ripping our wooden shed down after we've emptied it :rotfl:
It's finding the time though. Most of us are working all week this week and the ones who aren't can't go to the tip/do the bonfire on their own, then I believe we're busy most of the Easter weekend(as well as the tip being closed on holidays) but I'll have to see if there a spare couple hours somewhere0 -
Added a huge pile of colouring pencils to the pile. Also finished the last of the Christmas Baileys last night. Also have 4 bottles of Becks sitting in a large box in the larder, so will store the beer elsewhere and get rid of box.0

With old blankets, pillows, cushions, sheets, I have found our local dogs home is appreciative of these kinds of things. And old cuddly toys as well. Something for them to tear up.0

I'd like to join this challenge. First thing out:
1) Our broken washing machine, unrepairable, it went out with a bang losing a whole heap of bits out the bottom of the washer and twisting the drum. The council fee was £40 to take it away so rang a couple of scrap merchants who would pick it up for free but baulked at the stairs. Final solution: took it to one of the local scrap metal yards who gave us £3 for it!
One whole square metre of floor, liberated (had to store it in the house after the new one came).0 -
Well done all... a quarter of the year done. Time to look back and see what areas you have cleared and/or how light and airy things are starting to feel and look!
My clutter free journey is enjoying [?] a twist and a turn at the moment as DD1 is painting her room and asked if she could move a few things into mine. My definition of a few things and hers are obviously very different! However, we will go through everything before it goes back so it will be clutter free. We have also got our first allotment and having a nosey yesterday it would seem we have a lot of the previous tenants clutter to get rid of before we even tackle the weeds and grass!Don’t put it down - put it away!

1p Savings Challenge- 0/3650 -
The dreaded "stuff" corner in the kitchen will be sorted tonight
Items in this corner include things such as our recycling bags, dog things, shopping bags, my boyfriends flask and lunchbox from when he was working(?!) and a various assortment of other crapola :rotfl:
Seeing as you have to pay 5p for carrier bags in the shops now, my mum has been doing very well with taking our own bags every time she goes shopping, but our carrier bag stash doesn't seem to be reducing at all! Even with the fact that we use them to line the smaller bins in the house!
I have finally emptied and flattened the box from my new pc monitor I bought weeks ago :j so that one is in with the recycling that's being collected tomorrow
I also used up a shampoo and a conditioner in the shower last night so now I can focus on using up the bottles with only a little bit left to get rid of them also so that should make the bathroom look better - less cluttered0 -
Cleaned and tidied cleaning materials cupboard. Cleared kitchen surfaces, Hovered living room and placed odd socks in dss room, they are his. Cleared surfaces of general crap. Polished and dusted room plus cleaned lampshades. 2 plastic boxes put in dds room, Just have Easter eggs to go and to find somewhere to store some LPs.
I have a clean and tidy room:j. I am so pleased.
Also sorted out a few craft mags for CS. Off to sort out bathroom now.:rotfl:0 -
All rubbish and recycling out for collection in the morning.
There are some things there from the stuff corner I mentioned before and from my mums room when we finally finished it over the weekend so now we really are back to how we got the house just after Christmas and with only 1 more day at work before a 4 day weekend(and also realising we're not going to be as busy as I first thought) hopefully we can knuckle down and get a fair bit done0 -
Have 4 day weekend , have asked oh to sort out his side of the bedroom- Before I do it for him:mad:. He is a hoarder. TO be fair to him This I think is learnt behaviour His parents house is cluttered they are not too big on housework, also another relative f his house is like hoarder next door programme. Sometimes I sneak things of his out when he is not looking.:rotfl:
Hopefully I will have a positive report this weekend.0
