With old blankets, pillows, cushions, sheets, I have found our local dogs home is appreciative of these kinds of things. And old cuddly toys as well. Something for them to tear up.
And towels!:)
I don't know if anyone has read goodbye, things by Fumio Sasaki, I can highly recommend it. Obviously I downloaded it to my kindle rather than buy a physical book:D0 -

Well done everyone on your updates!
Started the Easter break by decluttering the following today:
approximately 20 items of clothing for charity
1 bag of books to donate to charity
1 bag of recycling (old magazines, leaflet etc)
2 bin bags of stuff that is no longer needed!
Aiming to sort old toiletries/make up and spring clean my bedroom over the weekend.:A0 -
Bugslet - I'm halfway through reading it right now (also on Kindle). Enjoying it very much - (very amused by "wierdo obsessed with throwing things away" :rotfl: ) it's the motivation I needed to kick start me on this process again.somerandom wrote: »222. Disintegrated blanket

So I have just acquired a whole load of brand new and sealed avon bits from my mum when she was an avon rep for a few months last year, and also a couple shower bits she got for Christmas just gone which she said she'll never use.
Items I have acquired include perfumes, moisturisers, makeup, face/eye creams, shower gels, shampoo/conditioner and face wash type bits.
I am most grateful for the perfumes but least grateful for the face wash and shower gels as I just bought a whole new lot of my usual skincare regime on Thursday and it wasn't cheap!
I had to buy those things as I am coming near the end of the current ones I'm using.
I'm in a bit of a predicament though as the avon stuff is older(I only found the skincare brand I normally use and started using it religiously earlier this year) but still sealed, and my usual products are newer but I've nearly finished this current lot.
Should I continue using my current products until they're gone then move onto the avon stuff, or put my current products on hold and start using the avon until it's gone then go back to my current products?
I'm literally so confused right now :rotfl:0 -

Still on a decluttering roll. Not as many things as yesterday but a couple of much larger items which have made a huge difference to a couple of roomsShifting my energy for 20200 -
@somerandom , there are some clips of him on YouTube and his very empty apartment.
Some things I really have minimal clutter, toiletries being one of them. I long since realised that clothes are something I like too much to adopt only a few pieces strategy. The only plus point is I'm not big on handbags!0
