    750. Easter Gift bag – counting this as I normally hoard them!
    751. Board game

I have got about 15 items listed online and I've no plans Wednesday so I'm hoping to get a bit of sorting out done then. I've definitely stalled a bit, so I want to try to get going again. Happy decluttering everyone
  • no de clutter last week as went away and what with easter need to get back on track.
  • Emptied a shower gel, a shampoo and a tiny tube of hydraluron that seemed to go on forever! :j

The bathroom is starting to look better now and I have one less step to worry about in my skincare routine :D

    Can you not 'lose' things?;)
    Might have to:D
  • After moving all the bags of stuff to sell out to the shed, I found a carrier bag full of OOD medication that I asked mum to take to the chemist to dispose of safely.

That was months ago(possibly even before Christmas) and she never did it.

Good job though as I have found some more OOD things in the medicine cupboard!

Will go through the cupboard with her when she gets home from work soon then she can take it down to the chemist when she goes shopping later :o

I've identified the 3 main problems in our house - children's books, clothes and toys. I decided to start with clothes. It can be difficult as DS doesn't have a wardrobe. We would need to take a lot of stuff out of his bedroom to actually fit one in and I'm not sure where the other stuff could go at the present moment. His clothes are currently stored in boxes (the big IKEA cube ones), which is not great, I need to try to think of a cost effective solution in the interim.
With DD's clothes, she has plastic drawers inside her wardrobe, so I started labelling them yesterday - one for underwear, one for tops, leggings etc.. so hopefully it will be easier to find things and things won't end up getting pulled out and all over the floor.
I've also identified a few toys to go on eBay - need to actually find time to do it when kids are in bed though, as if the eldest sees them I'm sure she will suddenly insist she wants them!
  • Going to the cinema today with the boyfriend to see Fast & Furious 8 :D :j

When I get home though I'm going to sort out my weekend bag. I bought it primarily for storage(and then it was also there if we do ever go away for a couple days) and it has just become full up with everything!

So I'm going to go through it and try and either get rid of some of it or find new homes for as much of it as possible :o

I have spent the past two weeks slowly working through my stuff. I forgot to write down what I have got rid of but I have started to see a difference. I have also been able to start decorating, so my hall is starting to look a little more normal. Once the carpet is up, the for stained and its dressed again I will be able to open my door and not be ashamed. Only the rest of the house to go.

I have even started on the garden.:)

Well done parsniphead. I'm slowly doing my house and garden and was thrilled when a shed was dismantled and removed which means I can see all my garden from my dining room window. I use Freegle a lot and have given two greenhouses, a fish pond and a big plastic shed away recently and feel fantastic.

    Keep going everybody x
