Must say, it's only now, 4 months on, that I am starting to notice a difference in the house. There's still a long way to go though. I think I need to get over this need in my head to sell so much. I put some things on auctions which meant they sold within a week, but for less than I would have got if I'd been patient and set a buy it now price, so I now feel guilty about that as we have a few big bills coming up and I'm feeling sick about them. Then again, I suppose if I put them on a set price there is no guarantee they would have sold in time. Gaaah, I annoy myself sometimes!
Oh, also my husband got rid of some books and DVDs. I can't remember if I was counting his stuff on the list though, so I haven't added them. I also threw away some empty toiletry bottles that were used up, but couldn't remember what they were so they are not included. I am definitely seeing a reduction in my ridiculous toiletry stash since I stopped buying more!0 -

Sorted out a lot of defunct paperwork and DH had fun burning it on the BBQ this afternoon. He also de-cluttered (melted) my long, matchstick shaped lighter thing. :eek:Illegitimi non carborundum.0

Items 2 - 5.
Four pieces of clothing that don't fit and have seen better days - into the rubbish.
OMG, I know I have barely started this purge, but I didn't realise it was going to be so hard to be motivated to go through a whole lot of stuff, when I am trying to fit it around running a business that insists on being 7 days, even though the "plan" originally was no more than a 4 day week.0
