  • Boyfriend and dad about to head off to the tip with the biggest load we've ever taken, the car is full to the rafters! :rotfl:

Something tells me they're gonna be a while!

I've kept a few bags back to go through again as I think I want to hold on to some of it now haha!

What ever I don't want though I will take to the charity shop for someone else to enjoy as all that's left now is pretty decent clothes :o

After going through my wardrobe and donating all the clothes that either dont fit or i'm not really that keen on ive been left with just a few choice pieces to build a capsule wardrobe on.

Only problem is, what i want, i cant find anywhere.

    I feel you!

I've had it where I've tried to build up from scratch and tried to just have a few select key pieces that go with anything(cami tops, white/black shirts, smart black trousers, that fit-perfectly pair of jeans etc) but then I'm left wondering where I put my Lee Cooper check shirt I spent loads of money on and like to wear over my Animal t shirts(which I also cannot find) and then I'm in a rut :(
  • Just sorted through what's left and scoped out what I want to keep.

All that's left now is bags for charity shop which will be got rid of over the next few days :D

Will take the big one today and maybe one of the others and just trickle them out of the house until they're all gone :o

Joint decision between me and my hubby, when our daughter has her 2nd baby in a few weeks, there will be no more sleepovers at Nannys. Unfortunately we cant fit a cot and a toddler bed in our bedroom so we (i) will be babysitting at my daughters house.

So, with much sadness but relief at the same time, the toddler bed will be going as soon as.

  • Bit of a quick 'review' as most of the stuff that needed sorting has been sorted(just a couple more bags to take to the charity shop now)-

The house doesn't really look much different, but then we sorted out a lot of spaces that can't be seen(cupboards etc.).

Most of what is out(on display, if you like!) is stuff we use on the regular so we can't really sort any of this out as we won't get rid of any of it. All we can do is make sure it's put back neatly after it's been used.

My dad has some plastic storage boxes out in the shed full of stuff that he's been meaning to sort out for ages. I'm sure he will get round to it but as it's 'out of sight, out of mind' then it's not exactly top of his list right now! :rotfl:

I think as long as we get what we can IN the house sorted, then that's the main thing as that's what people see when they come to our house. :o
