Got rid of a few more rubbishy bits and finally got my outfit for my cousins wedding out of the primark bag it was stashed away in and hung up!
My floor is slowly starting to get clearer now
Under the bed has all the things and only the things that should be under there(i have an ottoman end lift bed which is designed to store things underneath it)
The wardrobe has all of both my and my boyfriends clothes(i have even got all my work clothes from last week washed, dried and hung back up already - and as I'm off for a week now they won't see the light of day until next Monday!)
The TV area is tidy(sold TV tuner and a couple other bits for the PS3 a couple weeks ago as the PS3 itself is not being used at all right now) and the DVD's and games are all put away.
The desk and side table with PC, printer and all other bits is tidy. All things that are meant to be in the drawers and on the shelves either side of the desk are put away - and put away neatly.
The only things on the floor now are a model box for the Airfix model my boyfriend is currently working on, a pack of reach lighters for my candles, a jiffy bag with some cans of compressed air in, beside my bed on the floor is the contents of my bag(makeup bag, umbrella, pencil/bits & bobs bag, purse and keys - this is only here while i decide whether I'm going to buy a new handbag or not when i get paid on Friday and if not, which bag out of the ones I already have will I use), next to the wardrobe is a neatly placed pile of duplicate shower gels(working on using these up) and next to the door is a load of my boyfriends stuff - some of which he needs to take home, some of which is work gear that needs to stay put for now.
I feel i have more or less sorted my room as much as possible now. My brother and his girlfriend are slowly sorting their room in little bits each day and mum and dad have been doing little bits downstairs which has resulted in some things being thrown away, some put in the recycling, some put in the charity shop bag and a couple of bits given to me to try and get rid of on facebook.
Oh forgot to add that on the floor there is also a crate of beers that will get demolished at some point this week :rotfl: and my deodorant and body spray but i just don't know where to put them to get them up off the floor! Any ideas?0 -

Can I join in please? Our house has far too much of everything - clothes, toys, books, toiletries, you name it. I think I should aim for 2017 things to make a dent. I might start with the bathroom - there's bound to be out of date medicine for a start.0

I've made a start!
1 Dead plant put in the green recycling
2 Large pile of son's art in the paper recycling (he's 4 so there's a never-ending supply at the moment)
Time for a cuppa after all that hard work. ;-)0 -

That's not a bad idea Planning ahead :T
The aforementioned shower gels of mine are neatly piled into a small plastic storage box. Maybe once I have made a good dent in the shower gels i can take the last couple out and use that box for my morning(and maybe evening too...) things0 -
Almost 450 receipes, you must feel good to clear and organise that lot. Well done

I decided to get rid of my electric guitar. I bought it years ago, and it's sat in the cupboard for as many years less a month or two! Not been used for so long, I won't have time to learn how to play it, so a quick text to a work colleague with some musical kids and it's gone! Nice big space in the cupboard cleared.
244. Guitar
245. Guitar amp
246. Guitar stand
247-300. Guitar accessories x 54
301. Guitar bag
302-306. Books x 50 -

I had been planning to get some eBay listings on, but it was so dull outside I was struggling to get decent photographs of anything, as the lighting was just awful. On a better note, hubby has sold and listed a few things of his own. He has a lot less stuff than me, but what he does have tends to be higher value items, so if they sell that will be a few extra much needed pennies.
I'm another one with a huge box of shower gels. For some reason I've not been adding those to the list as I use them, although I put a hand wash on the other day and I have just as many of those. Oh and baby toiletries...there are hundreds of the things... I'm sure they are multiplying! At the moment I just keep mine upright in plastic storage boxes in the bottom of the wardrobe. Not ideal. I also have some IKEA spice racks (the really cheap wooden ones) fixed on the wall inside the wardrobe, also filled with toiletries, perfumes and goodness knows what else! Oh and a four drawer storage cabinet in the bathroom, one inside the wardrobe, a 3 drawer chest of drawers in the bottom of a cupboard and a huge vanity case, as well as random boxes strewn about the place . Toiletries and beauty items used to be my item of choice to hoard, hence why I have such a problem with themIt's like a branch of Boots in here :rotfl:
