This is a survey site that is guaranteed to pay out. You only receive surveys that you qualify for and once you have completed it, you will receive a credit worth £3. You can cash this out for paypal or keep saving it until you qualify for a minimum £10 voucher.

You won't earn hundreds a year with this site, the most I made one year was £24. We like it as it is guaranteed and sometimes they send you products to test.

There are a few rules which can be found on this page. Have a good read and then apply for yourself.

Carbootcrazy, for what it's worth I'd have done the same as you. When we had our cavity wall insulation, the Government wasn't how the company doing it introduced themselves! I think it may have been done via Swalec but it was a good few years ago now....if they were genuine, surely they could leave literature with contact details so you could read it for yourself. As a female on my own at night I'd be wary about who I was letting in too! :)

Thanks:T. Makes me feel a bit better.

No, he didn't offer to leave any literature.

Another disconcerting thing was that I looked through the front window as he went back to his car. He got into the passenger seat so there were obviously two people. I certainly wouldn't have been happy if they'd both been in the house if I'd said OK to the 'Government' man.

Thanks to everyone who responded after my rant and offered advice:T. What lovely people you are:A, I feel so much better now. I'm so sorry for hijacking the thread on a non-moneymaking subject:o.

Aesop, yes we are registered with TPS but they don't seem very efficient as so many iffy calls still get through:(. I occasionally phone them to check if we are still registered and they check and we are. Strangely enough these calls re 'free' replacement boiler/insulation are recorded messages from a variety of different numbers (never withheld) but the exact identical recording/voice:eek:

Yes, I remember Discogs being mentioned before, I think it was Lexbubbles who used to sell with them a lot. Thanks for reminding me of them, FatVonD:T

Incidentally, I'm wondering if this year can get any worse. I'm still up because we discovered water pouring down into the hall tonight. It never rains but it pours:rotfl:. OH tracked it down to a leaking pipe under the floorboards of the spare bedroom. Nothing to do with ever being frozen. I know this house is cold but it's not that bad ! Must just be worn out, like me;). We've spent the last couple of hours moving furniture, rolling the carpet up,organising buckets, towels, mopping up etc. Cue for more ranting and swearing from Mr Angry:eek:

Oh Carboot, that is awful. I hope you are all okay. Just think of it as getting rid of the bad stuff early in the year....

Onepoll have paid out £40 and I have made my first £0.46 on Qmee. Great that you can cash out as soon as you have done a survey. This takes me to £55.46 so I am over a third of the way there.

  • Hope you get your flood sorted CBC!! What a nightmare that you can do without.

£18 tips to add for me and £5 swagbucks.

Since my place of work had to sack the assistant manager, (six weeks ago) we have all been doing extra hours to cover which I didnt
mind for a while but he still hasnt been replaced and I told the manager that after this week I would not be doing any extra.
She seemed to understand I was looking forward to getting back to normal.
Yesterday I was asked to do another extra shift......I just looked at the rota and said no. Didnt try to make an excuse and she went "Oh!!" as if surprised.
Why do I feel so guilty? I think doing so many extra shifts hasnt helped with this chest infection which still is lingering on. I feel that I am perimenopausal as well and my energy levels arent brilliant.
If it comes to it ...I will explain all this to the owner but I feel that six weeks has been plenty of time to sort out more cover and if we all keep covering ....they wont see any urgency.

  • Sorry to hear about your work problems, Kantankerus. I hope you can get it sorted to your satisfaction very soon. Sounds as if you're standing your ground though. Well done:T

Well done too to you and all the moneymakers:beer:

Well, plumber has just been, did a bit of soldering and other stuff but didn't take too long:j. Cost couldn't have been too extortionate as OH isn't reeling from the shock;). Water and heating now restored and, several cups of tea later, all seems right with my world. Well, as 'right' as it ever gets:rotfl:

Now, to get back into making some money:)

That's great Carboot! Tea is always good too....(well, if it is too early for gin)

Another 25p from Qmee so now at £56.17...I hope it isn't annoying but I find logging here quite an incentive to get going
