That's great Carboot! Tea is always good too....(well, if it is too early for gin)

Another 25p from Qmee so now at £56.17...I hope it isn't annoying but I find logging here quite an incentive to get going

    Thank you:T

Absolutely not annoying at all coming on here to log your successes. It's the accountability of reporting moneymaking success (or otherwise in my case:o) that keeps us motivated:beer:

glad you got leak sorted and hope OH has stopped ranting.

next time he starts tell him to give his head a wobble.

I had DH ranting at me today as he has the flu and I dared to goto work instead of taking a day off unpaid to mother him...... :rotfl: I soon set him straight by text back on that one! especially as I have lost an hour and bit of pay having to leave early to go get DS.

he makes the worst patient ever.

My last declaration for the day methinks...claimed £5 from swags and they paid virtually instantly. £61.17 now. I feel determined to get my £150 which should be doable once the eby stuff starts to sell.....I hope!

Have been 60p short of a £20 payout on Prolific for ages so was really chuffed today to find I was eligible for a 75p study:j. When I tried to start it I got a message that my browser (IE) isn't supported:(. Not sure if it was just that study or across the whole Prolific platform but it's never happened before.

The message went on to suggest various other browsers that are compatible such as Opera (which I've never heard of:o), Firefox and Chrome.

Has anyone more tech minded than me any advice on which is best (or less hassle than the others) please? Aesop??? I've used various versions of IE since 1997, frequently with moans about it's hiccups so haven't a clue about the others. I get plenty of online ads for Chrome. I did once try Firefox but couldn't get on with it somehow, even though it seemed simple to use.

I don't like opera and it hadn't really taken off.

I am a big fan of chrome as think it's easy to use. I too have issues with Firefox so it's there for emergencies only.

About another £11 in eBay sales for me taking me to £195.86. Just got another 3 listed while OH walked the furry friend. So 18 things listed at the moment and offer ends on Monday night. Will keep plugging!

On the down side - and perhaps Carboot will feel consoled by this!! - we had to call the drain clearing people out urgently after our lean-to at the back of the house flooded. It was blocked by fat and those horrible polystyrene balls in the wall cavities - god knows how as we don't put any fat or debris down the sinks and the balls shouldn't be able to get there at all! All fixed now, but £114, literally down the drain. Actually, its not so much the money thats irritating, but the pure stench of death emanating from it after the entire structure was saturated. Not quite sure how we're going to get rid of that to be honest!

Ho hum, TFIF hey folks!! ;)
