Another quiet (and lazy) day, our only venture out was to the cemetery to place some flowers for in-laws

Evening all :hello:
Happy New Year to all of you  I'm just back from the most fantastic 24 hours catching up with my friend and her family. I always love seeing her...
Yorkshire - I'm sorry to hear the sad news about your BIL, and I have fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
Foxgloves - feel better soon
I am utterly exhausted today, not with a hangover, but from sharing a hotel room with dh and 2 kids. It's been a long, hard day - but totally worth it to see my friend. Nothing particularly mse today, but I have bagged a nsd and some quality time with my friend.
I've put a big list together for my last day of holiday tomorrowand the best thing I can do tonight is to get a good nights sleep tonight so I'm raring to go in the morning.

Well, I have finally logged onto online banking and have paid £550 off my credit card (in addition to the minimum payment) which is a lot less than I was hoping
That basically means that whatever I spend under that amount on the card will be paying down debt, if I spend more I will be increasing the debt, but I will have saved whatever the interest would be on that £550. My train ticket will cost just under £300, my only hope is to bring in the shopping bill under £50 per week (which is DH's contribution to the food bill each week.)
I think tomorrow I will need to redouble my eBay efforts!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
Evening all... late post for me as I was a bit tender this morning
not like me at all but a great night was had by all. Stayed home, used food we had, friends round. Small had a ball, great memories
YL thinking of you and your family
Family round today but all frugal there, made crumble with pears and apples that weren't good for anything else. Now have half a leg of lamb in fridge, left over cous cous, spring onions and gravy all stashed in fridge. Will sort out tomorrow when I decide what we're eating. May put some of lamb in slow cooker if DH doesn't mind eating it two days on trot. Will freezer whatever I don't use.
Will need to figure out tomorrow what from plan is being eaten on what day so I can plan accordingly and make sure nothing is wasted.
Put in my shiny new calendar, packed with dates and shiny stickers

Morning. Well nye and New Year's Day were both nsds for me. Both had a little gathering to attend but neither raucous both pleasantly relaxed. I need to plan for January and the rest of the year today. I need some direction as lovely as it has been just pottering around the last few days.
YL I'm sorry for ur sad news. How old is he? Is the outlook positive?Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #820 -
