Totally Jamie, it makes me wonder about people. I know the profiles you mean exactly, I can tell just looking at their pic what they are like. I'm quite good at spotting the genuine ones (or so I thought). A good test I do is look at their profile and if they then look at mine I know that there is a fleeting chance they might be worth emailing.

Some of the things you write are quite startlingly ignorant. I know it takes all sorts to make a world but not sure you will find a women with any pride in herself with similar beliefs.

Well , human beings ( both men and women) sometimes say to each other "what a palaver" and sometimes "happy new year". Guess why? - because circumstances are different. The same applies to what you written - circumstances and characters must be different , it is up to one to posess emotional/social intelligence and react appropriately. The more of that intelligence one has the easier his/her life is going to be.

Yip well truth hurts doesn't it? So I tried to strike a common ground but I should think all I am trying to do is wrong, that I am pushy, arrogant, looking for a quick ride or whatever, the usual guys are all pigs thinking, I shouldn't think that it is at least reasonable that someone should at least try to negotiate half way.

No this is utter rubbish, you're just defending this behaviour because it is a female but if it was a male doing this to a female you'd be saying to her throw his !!! in the ditch already he aint interested, wouldn't you?
