Dwy dafod ond un iaith,

Yay for tinsel! always think the tree looks unfinished without it. I'm more a fan of the thinner stuff rather than the really thick bushy stuff but that's only because I hate it hiding my twinkly lights :rotfl:
half way through the second part of my friends gift and it's looking good! I rather want to keep it for me :rotfl: might have to make another one afterwards as apart from a blanket for DS I have no more projects to do
Had a google of the M&S advert debarcle  oooer!
MIL's stitch counter turned up from china yesterday as well, and it works! just ordered some little snipper thingys and then it will be hotel chocolat trip and the search for some sort of basket (worst part of christmas present wrapping, none of my charity shops seem to ever have any)

Hiya,
No tinsel for me. I do like a bit as a scarf though!
I forgot about wrapping last night as I was engrossed making Reindeer food for a fundraiser for the Salvation Army.
I have wrapped tonight and am completely up to date.
Might get the cheese advent for my Mum.She doesn't have many gifts from me at the moment. There is a limit to how much festive food and bubble bath one octogenarian needs.
Need to find my address book and start some cards.
I have finished my snow craft today.Still not able to upload photos.Doh.

Hello everyone hope you dont mind me asking but thought what a great place to ask. We are having Christmas away this year in a hotel abroad and I'm really starting to think Ive made a big mistake. I love Christmas sooo much but I'm starting to panic about it because my son is only 11 and I need to make it feel extra special. He really wanted to try Christmas away from home. We dont have any family here so we thought why not. I am hoping some of you lovely people could help me with any ideas to make it nice for him. I have to date got a pop up tree, gel decorations for the windows some Christmas crackers. I will of course be taking him his presents but I'm really stuck for other ideas.
Feeling hopeful x0 -
Morning all,
WRAPPING EVENING!!! was it last night? So sorry!! Shall we rearrange for saturday evening?
I am meeting myself coming back at the minute, which im sure we are all doing at the minute.
Vulpix- Back is no worse so Im thankful for that. I am able to get about and am still able to work. You are very good to remember to do your snow craft. Cannot wait to see it. Im going to spend this next week catching up. So much I want to do to the house now it is starting to look more like "our home". We have left it for so long due to illness, now we have started we want it all updating lol How are you doing?
jakes-mum- sounds like your gifts are coming together nicely x
pinkpetal- are the hotel decorating the room at all for you? Maybe they could offer as special North Pole Style breakfast? I think it is a lovely idea and hope you both have an amazing time. (maybe hot chocolate and goodies to snuggle up and watch a christmas movie on christmas eve)
Free- Thank you lovely, I am being cautious but working slower is taking me much longer. Getting a little frustrated as I am usually very organised( and quicker) lol your festive evening sounds fab
MrsI- hope you had an amazing birthday
Peppa- I bet you are excited about decorating your new home this year.0 -
