We both thought we were staying in Bicester but it was actually Milton Keynes :rotfl: I gave you a wave PEPPAPIG. They had Christmas trees with lovely whte fairy lights in Bicester it was really festive. I cant remember who asked about having a real Christmas tree, for the last 6 years I have had a Nordmann Fir and I put it up the first weekend in December and take it down New Years Eve and it stays lovely as long as you keep the water topped up, mine is even next to a radiator.
Thanks Freespirit I was asking as last year first time for years we had a real one got our artificial tree out of loft and was looking a bit shabby so had to be dumped picked one up quite late didn't put it up till mid Dec as was worried wouldn't last will look for that variety as like to start 1 Dec.
Off to check Xmas as out thanks for link girlinyellowdressFrugal challenge 2025

Morning lovelies.
I got round to putting Halloween back in the Attic last night but don't decorate for Christmas until first weekend in December. I've already got my works stuff pencilled in for Dec so getting excited. Decoration day is always lovely we come in and just have a fun day with parents invited helping the children make decorations. Then there's the panto trip that's always fun, can't remember what it is but Sam baileys in it again. We have a evening walking round the local estate signing carols I've not done that for a few years but want to join in this year. And we have a Christmas fayre which always has lovely crafts on sale. Need to see if we are doing aworks secret santa this year as well. I need to get my Christmas scratch cards as well and find out who's here for dinner on the day.
Hope everyone is well, hugs to all who need themSPC~12 ot 124

I really like the M&S Christmas ad this year - wasn't keen on last year's effort. Thanks for the link GYD. STOKIE he's not santa :rotfl:
Hope the JL one is good. Do we know when we're expecting the Coke one this year? I wish they wouldn't shorten them after the first couple of plays though, it's so disappointing.
FREE glad you had a fabulous weekend, you could have dropped in for tea
MRSMONEYPENNY your Christmas activities sound really good. I miss having carol singers, not the odd ones who come and sing one line and then ring the bell but the groups that used to come round and the Salvation Army band.
I think I'll get my Christmas Pandora out now it's November. I'm wishing this month away a bit because I want to get the decs out and wear my Christmas jumperIt's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
