Was frosty here too this morning!

Hope everyone is ok. Just popping in quickly as am busy with card making today and really need to make a start on tidying it all away now properly.

Going to get my other half to help me wrap the hamper baskets this week I have done for a couple of people. Four hands are better than two for them and he seems to have the knack of making them look better than I ever could :D

I re watched the M&S advert :rotfl: - oops to thinking he was Santa

Had a bit of time with my mum yesterday afternoon and we were both browsing Christmas decorations, think I have enough now, just to find my white tinsel - think I will have to reconsider as the only white tinsels we have seen all have pink in too and other half doesn't like it :D

Happy Birthday Mrs Invisible for yesterday :)

Lots of christmassy things going on here, loving it!

DH's friend stuck his head in my car to talk to me and was agast! 'are those CHRISTMAS songs??' umm duh! of course! its november! what else would I be playing? :rotfl:

Have spent the last 3 days watching christmas films while crocheting, its been lovely! really want my tree up now but DH draws the line at a tree in the livingroom in november (puts up with the christmas music though :D ). I can kind of understand as DD would get way to excited about it all and i'd be sick of having nowhere to put my laptop by december as it has to go next to me :D

Have made my christmas food shop list and am going to try and pick up a few bits each time I shop to spread it out. I also have £50 in tesco clubcard vouchers so will double check the boost offers before deciding if i'll spend them on the christmas shop or not.

Ahh gettingtherequickly, thats so annoying! Though why they didn't ring you when you 'didn't pay' I don't know, we always rang to chase numerous times before putting a stop on an account at my mums business (and suppliers to us too!)

Oakdene - Good luck with your hiding (and finding again :rotfl: ) if you need help, my DS is a blood hound for finding presents ;)

Missed the M&S ad posting, must go back and find it!

Peppapig - it really is exciting! The spa trip you had sounds lovely, I could do with one of those again soon.
freespirit - That's so funny about you thinking you were in Bicester! I'm in MK. I definitely need to pop across to Bicester again soon. I haven't been since I was a teenager!
    I do like the M+S advert, I think it's because I like Paddington :)
mrs-moneypenny - the decoration day sounds like great fun
MrsInvisible - happy birthday for yesterday!
GTQ - sorry to hear about your week at work, I hope you have a great time seeing Annie to make up for it
jakes-mum - you're so lucky getting away with the music, my OH would jokingly moan it's not allowed until December!
GIAYD - ooh is it? What are they saying about the advert?

I took a canvas bag full of presents over to my parents' last night to start stashing them there and creating space here in my flat.

No more presents bought since the weekend or anything else planned...just hoping more 50% off presents offers start soon at M+S for the bits I have in my basket!

Is tonight a wrapping evening? :)
  • Alja I am afraid I cannot repeat it on here. Just google m&s Christmas and look at the news comments. Or twitter

Seeing friends next weekend that I won’t see for while, so have boxed off those tonight. Christmas box just fitted in a pair of pjs, s&g giftset, body butter, flavoured coffee, a gift voucher and some chocolatey bits. Came in under budget of £25 too, so am chuffed with that. 2 other friends have had a little giftbag with a coffee gift voucher and s&g giftset. Will be glad to get them off with their recepients x

Cheese advent calendar? Thanks Murie, I shall pop to Asda on the way home.

So just done a list of what I have left to get presents wise & it's quite small. I'll hopefully get the rest when I head up to Cardiff at the end of the month, meant to be a weekend away with friends but I am the only singleton there & the weekend is with 3 couples! *SIGH* I might duck out of it & buy online...

Quick question to you all, as it has been discussed in the office today, Tinsel on the tree - Yay or Nay?
    Dwy galon, un dyhead,
    Dwy dafod ond un iaith,
    Dwy raff yn cydio’n ddolen,
    Dau enaid ond un taith.
