Prynhawn da!!
I love the drop in temperature thats happened recently, really making it feel like Christmas is just around the corner.
Bore Da Oakdene! Sut Mae? Dw i'n dod o Port Talbot:D Im loving your signature too - I actually am having that tattooed on me within the next few weeks!
Welcome to the board. I am having the same struggle with my 13 year old but I think hes decided on a keyboard now!
PEPPA - Happy Birthday!
Stokie - well done on your wrapping. I am yet to start mine. Im thinking I will get all the shopping done and then wrap slowly but surely throughout December
Coxy11 - the security tag incident is exactly my luck - I got in Wilkinsons all because of a packet of paracetamol a few months back, they rechecked me and apparently deactivated it but it set off every other alarm in all the other shops I went into - including tesco! Was less than amused.
Welcome back Feisty.
Well today will see me taking down Halloween decorations - I only had a little group of about 6 kids last night, took Holly out for an hour though so she has her little stash :-) it filled a chocolates tub though  will have to monitor teeth brushing and sweet eating me thinks. As far as decs go though Im tempted to leave the pumpkin tea light holders out and enjoy the festiveness of them for the next month being that they are autumnal :-)
Might make a start on Christmas card writing too. I have two Christmas card exchanges I am taking part in this year - one on a small forum with about 10 participants and another one on a Christmas forum which is looking at being about 65 cards so far!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Also have some bananas to use so Banana Bread will be made later today once I have done my competitions.
Also picking up Hollys last present tomorrow. Feeling so productive knowing I have her sorted and only have 2 other family members to buy for.....oh and pooches. :rotfl: cant forget them.
Right - off to comp. Be back later .
xTime to find me again0 -

Oakdene - I love the mornings now, it feels so fresh because it's getting cooler! I always look forward to winter, prefer winter clothes and wrapping up warm!

Morning all hope we are all well. Can't believe it is November already
My transaction from Boots last week that went through but then the till crashed and wouldn't print me a receipt has not been taken from my account, the held funds have now been released back into my bank account but now have to remember to save the transaction amount in my account as I think they have up to six months to try and claim the money.
Only had two trick or treaters last night - our first ones ever in this house, first year we were out so didn't know if anyone came, last year there were none but we had sweets in case, this year two girls knocked on and other half told them help themselves out of the bucket as they were our first...que massive handful grabs from both girls haha
My first Christmas 2018 payment has gone into my Christmas account today - me and other half both have a standing order set up that goes into one of my little online saving pot - only trouble is I may have to use some for rest of this year's. Oops£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
Not sure if it helps anyone but Mr T's have Vue Cinema gift cards on offer £20 for £25 value gift card in store only until the 5th. Think there is Spotify and Now TV gift cards on offer too£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120

Had to go to Costco after work last night, walked in & past, packs of 3 large Yankee candles for £30. I was on a mission as I was getting stuff for work, so will have to go back again. Judging by the amount of people in there, 5:30 on a Tuesday evening is the best time to go, there was no one in. Did my good deed at the checkout as the lady behind me was only getting 2 things, tub & pack of sweets for trick or treaters. She said that she had bought what she thought was plenty at supermarket, but didn't count on the vultures grabbing as much as possible, so it was all gone by the first lot.
Who is this Feisty person who sneaked in yesterday? Hope DD is thriving, walking, getting into things & generally bringing chaos and joy to the Feisty household!
Murie, thanks for tip on beers. Had a look as I thought it would be perfect for a friend who is a real ale buff. Not sure about the names and how sweet they could be, he is definitely not first in the queue for sweet. I don't drink, so haven't a clue.
GYD & Free, hope all well with you both.
Trying to get my head around the newbies at mo, so apologies to you for not being fully up to date with you, but welcome to the mad house, which will be an oasis of calm in a months time when the rest of the world is frantic!A smile costs little but creates much0 -
