morning! am going into,Poundland next week so will look out too
For those struggling with males, or hamper ideas, Hotel Chocolat have some amazing Tea bags in various gorgeous flavours, (called Teaolat) they also do the best Hot Chocolate in various strengths and flavours, the red tub, Christmas one, we had last year and both hubby and son loved it, Im doing small hampers with HC Hot chocolate, box of HC teabags, bag of marshmallows and some biscuits. Also in both JS and Next they have gift packs of cocktail syrups like mojito etc, search on 'syrup' in Next and you will see them, £6 I thought they will go beautifully with a bottle of Prosecco as a gift x0 -
top cashback have 10% cashback on Hotel Chocolat as well xx0

Murie - I don't blame you complaining about the makeup, I wouldn't be happy if it had arrived in less than perfect condition! On the subject of makeup, I'm really disappointed with BeautyBay. DD1 asked for a certain set for Christmas, but as it was limited edition it was being released on the website at 6pm a few Saturdays ago (around 3 weeks ago). So at 5.40 I got my ipad out, logged on to my account & searched for the item. It wasn't on the site at 5.40, but I just kept refreshing the page at regular intervals, then at 5.57pm it appeared on the site & was available to purchase. I purchased it, paid for it along with some other items I'd added to my basket already & the order went through. So last week I received my Beautybay parcel, only to find the limited edition set wasn't in there. I then noticed they have refunded me for the set, so checked my emails just in case there was a problem, but I've not received anything from them at all. So I emailed them asking where the item is, played dumb & didn't mention the refund, but they haven't even bothered responding to my email to explain why they have cancelled the order! It is the only thing she has asked for as well & as it's limited edition, it's not even available on the site anymore. I have told my DD about it, so she is aware of the issue & she's coming up with some other suggestions, but it's just so frustrating!
Free - I hope you're feeling better now. I can't believe how quick the thread is moving this year & how many newbies we've had
PK - I hope you're feeling better too, there are so many bugs going around at the moment it seems like people are recovering from one thing & then something else catches up with them.
Pinkangel - I haven't tried the pumpkin spice baileys yet, but saw it in Asda earlier. I was tempted to get it, any excuse for a christmas purchase, but I'm worried that we won't like it & it will go to waste. I might have to try & convince somebody else to buy it instead & then I can just try theirs haha
Jakesmum - Harry Potter must be on the up again this year because my DD has said she wants to be Hermione for Halloween. I do love watching the HP movies over Christmas, maybe because they're a perfect family movie.
I have officially started my proper christmas shopping now, finally! I've bought my OH his 'main' present, just got to think what else to get him now. I have also picked up some bits for my DD's & ordered a few things online. I'm struggling on what to get for my sisters, but I'm sure I'll think of something soon. I have a quiet evening tonight to myself, so I might even try & get some shopping done while I have the peace.0 -
HB have 2 bottles of Wytchwood brewery ales plus pork scratching in cardboard case0

Poundland had "The Night Before Christmas" book in today - RRP is 6.99 so nice little bargain if you have young kids in the family. I bought one just because I love the rhyme
I picked up a couple more stocking filler bits and sent my dad on a mission to find the tubes of Orange smarties in Asda as it isn't the closest supermarket to us so don't go very often and other half has asked for some£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
Freespirit hope your feeling a bit better will keep an eye open for the gingerbread latte for you & Nic
Princesskitty hope you & the boys are feeling better. You def don't have time to be ill once your a mum even less when the kids are poorly too.
Vulpix congrats to ds on the job
PinkAngel thanks for the HC heads up will have a look
LMG1305 You must be fuming that is appalling customer service  ok so you got a refund but that's not the point. Its the one thing I hate about online shopping you never really know if your going to get what you've actually ordered or if its even going to arrive this time of year esp there seem to be more & more issues.
Snorky my dd has had the mandarin spa stuff before and really liked it she's since brought sets as gifts for her friends so it can't be bad.
Harry potter is big this year due to the 20th anniversary though that does mean loads of new merchandise if your a fan
Sainsbury's had xmas scratch cards in today and they had the £1 ones aptly named stocking fillerwasn't impressed with the sale offerings in my local picked up some play doh tubs but that was it
Asda have 3 for 2 on some xmas gift sets including lynx at £4 which is the cheapest I've seen so far this year. They also had the freefrom selection packs & advent calendars in so that's another thing ticked off my list.
Men are def hard to buy for unless there is something they are really into and don't already have 101 related things for. Luckily I don't really have any to buy for just ds's and they usually prefer cash so I just get them a few token gifts so they have something to open on the day.this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
Evening everyone, aww thankyou to everyone offering to find some Gingerbread Latte that is really lovely of you all x
NIC amaretto and vanilla sounds horrible! At the moment I am drinking decaff unsweetened and Toffee Nut Latte and Hazelnut they are nice. I'm not keen on the new Salted Caramel Mocha but still none is a patch on our beloved GingerbreadI feel a lot better in myself thankyou
MANDCO thankyou for the heads up on the scratchcards I will try to get them crossed off my list this week, thankyou I'm not feeling too bad but could be better
VULPIX I'm going to message them on facebook as NIC recommended I bet we wont get anywhere but hey ho. Glad DS has a job that must be a great weight off of your mind, although it has been great having him home. Hope you had a lovely day out!
PINKANGEL ooh those hot choc hampers sound really lovely, and the idea for the syrups with Prosecco
LMG1305 Oh that is so annoying, especially when it was what DD specifically asked for, can you get it anywhere else or is that the only place? Ooh a full evening of shopping I like that
CARLISLELASS that sounds a lovely set for the men
STOKIEBECKS I love that book and bought one for my DGS for last Christmas
