Has anyone had confirmations from Haven yet? We booked and had confirmation from the Sun straight away but nothing from the park yet?

No,and when you phone direct they ask for your reference number
How you can you tell them your Haven reference number when they've yet to contact you to give it is beyond me

I'm glad its not just me then!

My sun confirmation says it should arrive in 10-14 days so I'll try calling tomorrow.
  • I booked 2 holidays but only got one confirmation email for the second booking. When I went to log into my haven account ( booked directly with them before) my missing details were showing in there and once made the payment I got the email confirmation so if you have an account it may be worth trying to check via that way.

Looked at these holidays in the past but never quite had the courage to take the plunge. But the last few months have been just horrible dealing with my Dad's illness and him passing away earlier this month so we decided we need to get away with the girls and reconnect as a family.

TY for the codes on here and all the info, managed to book 4 nights from 1 May at Bideford (we went years ago so know the area and the site). Hoping the school won't try to fine us as its only 4 days not 5 (bank hol) and I genuinely feel we need this as part of grieving process. But as my OH said helping the kids and pulling together is the most important thing and we will worry about that stuff later on if we have to, even with a fine still would be cheaper than a caravan in summer.

Just wanted to double check as my booking says service charges free and entertainment passes free, does that definately be nothing left to pay direct to the park or will there still be some extra charges e.g for linen?

    So sorry for your loss.

    The usual compulsory charges are:

    1) £9.50 x 4 (minimum)
    2) Daily service charge, which varies from park to park

    Optional extras are:

    3) Entertainment passes
    4) Linen

and sometimes 5) an electric meter charge.

If you got a pay no extra £9.50 holiday, then it will include items 1, 2 and 3. You will however still need to pay for linen and, if applicable, the electric meter charge.

I assume that is Parkdean Resorts (Bideford Bay)? If so, you will not need to pay the service charge (usually £7.50 pupn) nor will you have to pay for the clubroom passes (usually £5pp).

You will need to either pay for linen hire or take your own. Linen hire costs are usually pretty reasonable to avoid the hassle of taking your own, it will be detailed on your confirmation from Parkdean. There won't be any other extras to pay.

Yes thats the one Bazzy, will see what the charges are and make a decision if we should take our own or not then, ty.

I've just called them, and they were able to find the booking using my Sun reference. All confirmed, but they have had a few issues this time. I've paid the balance, and upgraded to a 3 bedroom caravan.

Thanks for all your help with the codes.
