  • Hi,

Does anyone know how you go about combining 3 night Fri-Mon and 4 night Mon- Fri bookings. I made a successful individual bookings within minutes of one another and only received confirmation from Haven for the 3 night one yesterday.
Will I still be charged twice for entertainment passes if these are put into a single booking by Haven?
    Thanks
    Dave :)

Yes, they've charged me twice for everything.

Thanks. I noticed your comment after I'd posted my comment. That is harsh. You are removing the costs for them to clean the accommodation and the handover costs too. I will ditch the linen and only pay for 4 nights passes. Had panned days out which I will do on the 3 days I do not have passes. I'd insist on change of linen as that's what you'd get if the bookings were separate....
  • Thanks Dave, believe me I have argued with them for almost an hour and they are not interested in the slightest.

Has anyone else ever booked four nights and three nights back to back? I've managed to do this in the Easter holidays and am now being told by haven that Despite the fact they've now linked my two bookings I need to pay twice for my dog and for the linen! I'm so angry as I feel I'm being ripped off by this. It's the same linen for starters. They have confirmed I won't be provided with new linen and if I was normally going for a week my dog would cost £25 but they want £50! I know these holidays are greatly reduced but I feel they're ripping me off!

Can't comment on the dogs, but I have regularly done back-to-back Sun bookings with various Haven sites and I have always removed the linen from the second booking and just kept the same lot for the second. They have always said that they can't guarantee that I would be in the same accommodation for both bookings and I say I'll take the linen with me if I have to move part way through... Having said that I have NEVER had to change units part way through and I have done this for years.

just say you don't want linen for the second holiday. I doubt they will come and collect it. or take your own linen?

Hi yes you will have to pay for ents passes for both holidays if you want to use the facilities. The passes often change colour on changeover days so you will need new ones if you want to use any facilities including going into the shop and the bar if the site has these all in one large building .....

I would say you only want linen for the first holiay (or take your own) but you might need the passes for the second holiday if you want to use any of the facilities. What haven is it ? Someone might know what facilities are behind the pass-access and what are separate?

Thank you so much for the codes Essex boy. I managed to book Butlins Skegness at the end of the summer holidays.

I just wanted to query the extras. I am going on the 1st September for 3 nights fri to mon. I have paid £60 which is for 4 people which is as expected.
I expected a charge of £100 for ent pass and a charge for linen of £17 but I did not expect a 'summer supp' of £10. The dates on the website do not mention any extra for 1st September.

Please can someone confirm if that is correct?
    Hi,that's a strange one.
Both the Brochure and the Sun Browse Sites have Butlins,Skeggy down as September 8th,out of interest I checked Bognor too and that's the same.
Kids are back at School then.
I think they meant to have it as September 1st,but as it's in the Brochure and the Sun Browse sites I'm sure they have to stick to that.
Phone Butlins number on your confirmation letter/email and let them know and ask for the £10 to be taken off.

Anyone else had a confirmation from Eurocamp yet?

It seems they have just added in the optional £15 waiver into the balance payable. Is this optional? Can i ask for it to be taken off? I am sure i have not paid it in the past.

    Yes,I've got mine too.
I just paid the £15 as otherwise it means paying a £100 breakage deposit on arrival which for me is more of an inconvenience.
You can phone and tell them you'll pay the £100 deposit on arrival instead.
Also on mine it said about a £50 cleaning deposit on arrival, which is given back when you leave.
Personally I have no problem with that,I done the same last year at Le Chene Gris(Paris) and the Caravan was spotless when I arrived and spotless when I left so I was refunded the cash.
I'm very happy,I've been given a free upgrade,I expected a 2 bedroom Classic Caravan, instead I've been given a 3 bedroom Caravan of the next level up from Classic.
