Calls actually cost 7p per minute plus the Access Charge set by the caller's phone provider.
The Access Charge can be up to 12p per minute from landlines or up to 55p per minute from mobiles.
Calls used to cost 5p per minute from a BT landline, and up to 41p per minute from other providers, but that was back in 2014 or earlier.
I've had feedback that the phone number does work but after your up to date information it's probably only worth using in desperation

I looked at booking direct and for the week we tried to book is £325 for the 4 days I have already tried the other paper holiday deals and they are also fully booked If worse come to worse would I beable to add myself and my husband to my daughters booking as she had a upgraded caravan
Depends how many people are on your daughters booking
If it's 4 people then she could always phone the site direct after she gets her confirmation email and ask to add you too on.
Maybe she could ask to upgrade to a 3 bedroom caravan if ones available for added comfort.0 -

I can't believe what I've done.
Schoolboy error
I booked up the flights and went and booked for a nighttime departure for Holland.
I wanted early morning and in the rush to get cheap flights I clicked the wrong one:eek:
Lucky I can change it for only £15pp,worth the extra for the one day longer at Duinrell.
Problem is after the card and info was fine for The Sun and Easyjet the security that goes through to pay the £30 decided the card information was wrong even though I entered it perfect around 5 times.
I have time so I'll go and order a new card and then pay the extra using that.0 -
I have a booking confirmation stating that I have paid the Sun £40.30 for my holiday, but the payment has not been taken from my account. Have the Sun processed your payments yet ? I'm a little worried as the booking site was continuously crashing when I booked.0

when did you do the booking?
I booked early on Sunday morning and got an email with a payment confirmation but no email for the booking confirmation. The booking confirmation email arrived more than 12 hours later.
So don't worry.
If you have an email confirmation of payment you are ok it's booked !

Hi, I'd be grateful for some advice. With the help of this forum (many thanks) I booked 4 nights at Golden Coast Holiday Village in Devon starting April 10th. At the time I booked in the early hours of Sunday morning this date was listed as "Pay Only £15". When I checked out I was charged £20pp which I just though was some kind of peak supplement but I did take the precaution of taking a screen shot of the page showing the "Pay Only" deal for 10th April.
I've now received confirmation from the park requesting a further £9.95 per night service change and £7.95 per person entertainment passes. The web page has now been amended to remove my date from the "pay only" category.
I feel this is unfair. I have the evidence to prove the pricing has been changed after I booked - is it worth taking up with The Sun or direct with the park? Or is there some catch-all wriggle out clause?
Thanks in advance.0 -

I think I can see what's happened.
There's 2 sites same area,Golden Coast Holiday Village and Golden Coast Holiday Park.
Problem is they have different Pay Only dates and you've probably booked the wrong one by mistake.
You wanted Golden Coast Holiday Park,if you check your booking I think you'll find you've got Golden Coast Holiday Village.
Problem is they're owned by 2 different companies,so it's not so straightforward to try to resolve the problem.
Can you make a thread on the official Sun Holiday Forum
https://club950.co.uk/community/
I try to resolve problems there, and as it's it's official it'll have more punch.
Can you also forward your confirmation email you got direct from the site to michael.essexboy@gmail.com
Don't know if I can help,but after work Monday I'll do my best.0 -
Thank you. I have checked all the details and all relate to Golden Coast VILLAGE (which is what I wanted). My e-mail confirmation even says Service Charge: FREE and Entertainment Charge FREE! I will update on the other forum and pm you further details. Thank you again for offering to help.0
