plus 2 replacement heads which are normally around £12, so those 2 items together cost over £50, so getting them (and some nail polish etc included) for just over £20 seems like a good enough deal to me.

Same here - I had £7 worth of points when I spent £55 (actual spend £55.50) plus at App added 250 points WYS £25.
Then I spent £31.50 and again App added 250 points WYS £25 plus I had a coupon from the recent mailing for 250 WYS £25.
All in all I got £14.50 in points from either coupons or the App.0 -

tbh it's prob not worth their time / effort putting up the 70% sale signs, by the time they've finished putting them up the locusts have cleared the shelves anywayFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I was only allowed to use the points from the App. Told the double points would only work on what was above the app voucher spend. Didn't necessarily believe her but didn't want to waste it on a £4 spend. Not allowed to use any of the other vouchers either :-(0

The double points vouchers is only on the points above the spend voucher. Some other vouchers will not work when you use a extra points over a certain spend. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
Staff coming out the shop with stuff. I know staff allowed to get stuff but it looks like these staff members aren't working that day. If they aren't working they should queue up like the rest of us.
I don't mind those who are working early on.
One of the checkout ladies in my local said they'd had staff in at 4am, some staff were leaving the store as we were still queuing at 7.30, if they've been there all night too right they should get first pick.0 -
Went up to Stratford Upon Avon Maybird store just after work this evening as I had a click and collect. I was surprised to see there was still some stock left. There was between 10-15 of the Ted Baker star gifts that they have been struggling to sells, even at 70% they clearly weren't too popular my way. No other "big" branded items but bits and bobs of beautilogy sets and the boots extracts to name a couple.
I walked round to the normal reduced shelf and round an array of Yankee Candles and gifts reduced. Only one of them I liked a small jar duo set for £6 which is great as it's £8.99 just for one small jar normally. The box is slightly battered but they are for home so no big deal.:money::rotfl::T0 -
My local was manic, stock crammed into a much smaller area this year which made it very congested and dangerous.
Spent more than anticipated considering most of what I wanted had sold out - would've loved some Orla Kiely hope they produce higher stock levels of it next year! I did manage to get the little Orla Kiely coin purse with mirror which I was pleased with but nothing else from that range.
Got a nice Fat Face set; shower gel & body lotion with a beautiful scarf so chuffed with that.
Disappointed with the Soap & Glory 12 washes set for £9.00 as thought it had more facial washes in & it was just the one with a loads of tiny shower gels etc...
Didn't bother with the large Yankee Candle Christmas Memories jars which was the only Yankee left, i find it hard to get to the bottom of their large jars so only ever buy small or medium ones. Instead I got Boots home fragrance Christmas pudding candle & pack of 3 mini reed diffusers, all tatty packaging but I don't care when its for myself. Also some nice Florence reed diffusers.
Pleased to get some Ted Baker little luxuries hand cream with glass nail files too.
A few other bits & bobs, Misguided nail & lip sets, FCUK mens, Nivea Men's etc...
Staff still bringing cages of stuff to the shop floor - mainly 'Star Gifts' which I'm SO OVER....
Picked about £9.00 in points via 'My Offers' too.0 -
Planned to get to Boots about 9/30 but various things plus buses being cut out meant that it was nearer 10/30. Enfield Boots is large obviously a lot had been sold but still plenty quite a few soap and glory cases but rested mainly smaller things for gifts. Busy but people polite guess the locusts had been early! Though some people at the till had bags full must be for resale I think or very very large families. Only thing that was wrong was the Yardley hand cream cracker when I got home it had come up as full price yet there were lots on the shelf. Have to see if I can take it back if not well it was only £4 each. Might have a search tomorrow.0

I'm quite glad I didn't go now. I usually go to one in Oxford and it's normally been fairly quiet and civilised but there really wasn't anything that I really needed and I wonder if this year with all the publicity on social media it would have been a lot busier. I've got Boots gift cards to spend but will probably use them on fragrance or some skincare that I like. There seems to be a lot of S and G left for sales this year. Don't know if it's losing popularity or what. I think once you've stocked up on your favourite products you don't need the gift sets with things you don't want. They regularly do the 3 for 2 offers and I buy what I want then such as The Righteous butter and bath stuff. I've enjoyed reading what people got though and hope you genuine buyers (not greedy ones) got what you wanted0
