Manchester Arndale had loads of slippers, Jack Wills Star Gifts, Beauticilogy, Jack Wills Body duos, and a few other odds & sods today, I was pleased to get the 'over the moon' body care tin as my local didn't have any left.

Not so much in Trafford centre, just odds & sods but loads of Champneys crackers.

Picked one or two random bits & bobs in Manchester Picadilly too, including a nice tin of Fat Face minis £3, and a box of Yankee Tealights £2 so was pleased with that.
  • Does anyone know if any soap and glory whole glam lot anywhere left I've been searching all over. That and the champneys treatment time set are the ones I wanted but didn't have any in my local stores. Pretty please

Where do you live? I haven't seen any in the Durham area. Cheapest listed on ebay is £37.50.

Bearing in mind they'll have paid £18 for it and it will cost £13 to post it because of the weight (3.3 kg) that's not such a bad price. After ebay & paypal charges they'll only be making just over a quid profit. Not worth bothering selling them on ebay. The reason I know about the costs for postage is that I was going to post one as a present - nearly as cheap to take it myself!!! I bet the sellers on ebay haven't realised how much it's going to cost to post them.

Arnison Centre had a load of Jack Wills note pad with letter stamps and stamp pad in. Was £14 now £4.20. My husband's verdict - he'd buy it if it was in the poundshop because that's all it's worth!!

They also had the Seventeen make up box (shiny blue box) - I didn't notice the price.

The sale stock is only taking up two end sections now.

The Seventeen sets are £12, I snagged a couple for the teenagers in the family. Not worth £40 by a long shot, but they're not a bad buy for £12 considering how much make-up is generally.

This is the thing I struggle to understand the most. The star gifts and indeed quite a few others weigh so much it's almost pointless selling them online. Once postage and seller fees are factored in any money made is negligible. As for selling at at carboot sales....not a chance at even making back the money paid let alone a profit.

People have come wise to it all now. The availability of these products during the 2/3 months before xmas surely those who wanted an item would have got it before xmas, or after at 50% off

  • Sorry I didn't know how to reply to you as I only just joined this site still working it out, I'm in West Midlands. Tried coventry and Lemington no luck. Birmingham I haven't tried but don't want to waste journey. I might see online if they go cheaper on eBay etc over the next few weeks.

I've not seen any at all at 70% off, seems to have been popular with the case this year. Reckon you'll be lucky to find one in store unless you fall lucky with someone bringing in a return.

You can always look on Ebay for just the case if it's mainly that you wanted it for.

Often these Ebay business sellers aren't paying as much P&P as you think, larger & heavier items are a lot cheaper to ship via a courier than Royal Mail & those that do use Royal Mail often get business rates.

Manchester also has mountains of the Seventeen £40 make up set, reckon they'll still be trying to flog them on 90% off day :rotfl:
