Anyone know if there's anything left worth having at Manchester Arndale and Trafford Centre?0

I got 2 x Jack Wills scarf sets £15, 2 x Zoella notebooks £4.20 and a Sanctuary face exfoiliator device £9. Only kept 1 JW& 1 Z notebook as girl in work bought the other.
Pretty civilised in Dewsbury store, only 1 shelf full. Then when i'd done at 8.32am& paid, i saw 2 women with a stack (11) of Ted Baker sets, guarding them. No need!!
I usually head to Birstall but there really wasn't much i wanted. I think Boots have done good with 50% so the sale wont be as good in future.
Glad a few of you goy your bargains!0 -
The lady at the till who I was chatting to said that they are only allowed to sell six of each sale item sounds very fair to me..0

For the first time in 6 years I didn't buy anything in the 70/75% sale. I have bought the large gift sets in previous years, but realised they weren't good value for me as I didn't use half of the contents, and I am still using S&G stuff from a set I bought 2 years ago .
This year I was quite happy to buy the things I really wanted in the 50% sale, mainly Orla Kiely, also a small No7 skincare set and a small Laura Ashley set in a nice keepsake box (I'm still a sucker for fancy tins and boxes which I keep!).
In my local store there were lots of the star gifts, men's gift sets, pyjamas, and small S&G, Sanctuary and French Connection gift sets, but nothing I was interested in so I gave it a miss.
Hope everyone got what they were after this year.

A few Sanctuary sets left this morning in Swansea Quadrant store a few Clangers toys and gift bags, tags etc. That's about it.0

Same here which is why I wanted the Soap & Glory star gift this year. I'll use the tin when I go on holiday - pack it in my case with the toiletries in. I often find when they get squashed they can leak - hopefully a tin will stop them being squashed.0 -
didn't bother either this year. Quite happy with the two I bought at 50% for gifts later in the year. So sad to see the posting from someone asking 'how long till we post on ebay' seems to have lost the spirit of it all and spoils for everyone. Anyway Happy New Year and lets see what Boots do next year0

Just 17 and Lynx gift sets left in a local 'in the sticks' store today. I looked inside the 17 one and I don't know why you'd bother - the products are miniature and therefore not as good value. As always with the gift sets, you're just paying for fancy packaging that will go in the bin. I'd rather pick up the make-up bits from the clearance section when they're 25p each and make up my own gift sets.Minimalist
Extra income since 01/11/12 £36,546.450 -
Arnison Centre had a load of Jack Wills note pad with letter stamps and stamp pad in. Was £14 now £4.20. My husband's verdict - he'd buy it if it was in the poundshop because that's all it's worth!!
They also had the Seventeen make up box (shiny blue box) - I didn't notice the price.
The sale stock is only taking up two end sections now.0 -
Does anyone know if any soap and glory whole glam lot anywhere left I've been searching all over. That and the champneys treatment time set are the ones I wanted but didn't have any in my local stores. Pretty please0
