Fitbit found and dragged screaming from the murky depths of a courier's van.
I'm breaking her in gently as tonight I am out, mostly eating:o0 -
Bit of a to do, not being the mosttechnically savvy person with getting the right time zone, then left it on kilometers instead of changing it and then getting it to sync.
But i think it's done now. Ready for the first day when the roads are nice and slippy and 6 months of bouncing giant schnauzer that doesn't have a clue about walking slowly.....:eek:0 -

Fabulous idea! I think I need one of those fitbits to track? I tried something similar last year and used the phone - it wasn't that great at tracking :-( and very uncomfortable after a while as it's a chunky thing!-X-Missima-X-0

Oooo not working - soooo jealous! ( presuming it's a choice!)
What dog do you have? I've a 16 year old bitzer, (very much on her last legs), 9 year old mini Schnauzer, 6 year old Klein Spitz and a bonkers 6 month old Giant Schnauzer, who as you will know, can only do 30 minute walks at the moment.
Fitbit didn't arrive yesterday:( Must have checked my steps about 20 times today...only to find no pedometer in my pocket:o
Yes its by choice, I was a self employed house cleaner, but was finding cleaning other peoples houses then not wanting to do my own :rotfl::rotfl: also both my parents are ill at the moment so I am helping them and running them around to docs/hospital aswell.
I have a nearly 3 year old Labradoodle, who is massive, weighs in at 38kg, and he pulls dreadful, so better off the lead than on.0 -
My bloody Fitbit ran out of battery so I'm a bit behind due to not logged steps. Still the scores on the doors for me are 63km so far in 2017. The real number is probably more like 100km or so but I'm only going to count what's logged.
I'm off househunting and then promised the kids I'd take them out for a walk tomorrow so am expecting quite a big number to get myself back on track.0 -

i've got the fitbit zip which is tiny. Usually I wear jeans and keep pedometers in a pocket; the zip is smaller and with a really sturdy clip, so you can attach it to a bra strap if you are a woman. though if you are a bloke and wearing a bra, well it's a free world:DSarahdol75 wrote: »Yes its by choice, I was a self employed house cleaner, but was finding cleaning other peoples houses then not wanting to do my own :rotfl::rotfl: also both my parents are ill at the moment so I am helping them and running them around to docs/hospital aswell.

Ill oldies, it's surprisingly time consuming!
That suggests recall then for your Labradoodle, which there is no way Lola can achieve. She's fairly good on the lead until we meet another dog... keeps you fit and all that!0 -
I am feeling incredibly lazy today having walked less than a mile with my tracker on
I had a lot of driving and generally sitting around that I could not avoid and now that I am home, I don't feel like going out again.
Still, I'm out with the ramblers tomorrow so that should be 7 miles at least and that will take me past 30 miles for the week :T0 -

I wouldnt worry about 1 day, somedays you will have real lazy days, then others you will make up for it.0
