I had a lot of driving and generally sitting around that I could not avoid and now that I am home, I don't feel like going out again.
Still, I'm out with the ramblers tomorrow so that should be 7 miles at least and that will take me past 30 miles for the week :T
Everyone needs a relaxing day now and again. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. I've done 2500 steps today and that's it. :rotfl:“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -
I'm sure it's a fact that that us elite athletes need a rest day to allow our muscles to have a break from the extreme demands we place on them.
That and its flipping cold:D0 -

That and we need to refuel. I relied on beer and nice cheeses.
Up to 23,000 steps so far today as I ran to parkrun and back this morning which totals 15 miles (inc the parkrun)“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -

Beer =hop=vegetable. Cheese =protein. Excellent choices.Sarahdol75 wrote: »Well done only done 8 000 steps today so far:(

I ended up doing 10kms yesterday as I'd forgotten I had to do a charity thing and so couldn't go for my walk. Still house hunting is a great way to get the steps up!0

If you wear your fitbit 24/7 (like me), you will find there are numerous ways to get your step count up. Going to the supermarket can easily become quite a work out.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -

i tend to just wear my watch when out on a walk and as it is satalite based, it tends not to record when I am indoors anyway
31.8 Miles this week0 -
Week 2 - 40.6 miles. A lot less than week 1 but I'm back to work unfortunately. Also 172 floors but this is wrong as it was very windy a few days and that affects fitbit. Snow too which affected me, though not fitbit
That's 88 miles so far against a target of 77 so a bit ahead. Today not so good (4 miles against a target of 5.5) but I did do a few tough hours in the garden so not beating myself up about it! Should hit my first hundred someday this week.
Good luck for next week everyone.0
