I had a lot of driving and generally sitting around that I could not avoid and now that I am home, I don't feel like going out again.
Still, I'm out with the ramblers tomorrow so that should be 7 miles at least and that will take me past 30 miles for the week :T
That's one of the benefits of tracking, it nags you into doing better tomorrow. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Remember this is not a sprint, it is (the mother of) a marathon. We will all have days where we don't hit our target, for whatever reason. I'm sure you have all had days when you just want to chill out on the sofa. You balance these days with the days where you get a real buzz from walking/running and can seem to go on for ever!
As always, persistence is the key.:beer:In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
Do remember in this very cold weather the dangers. Breathing in very cold air can damage your air passages and might effect the heart. I am told the best way to protect yourself is with a scarf or balaclava over the mouth. I am not sure this advise applies to all. My trainer told me about this and I am over 70.There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0

I've gone past the 100 mile mark today, I'm on 106 miles 242,848 steps, and 783 floors so far this year. I would have done it yesterday but forgot to put my band back on after my morning shower so went a whole day with no tracking. As much as I want to push myself, with the walking I've already done today I'm pretty tired so trying to convince OH that it's his turn to walk the dogs tonight.0

I know what you mean about being tired :rotfl: I have been putting a lot more effort in this week. Just over 20,000 steps on Mon and Tues and 12,400 today.
Legs are aching so going for a long soak in the bath.
One bonus though is that for the last couple of nights, I have slept really well which is a great bonus for me as I wasnt sleeping well at all and I am not good when I dont get enough sleep.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -

There are lots of benefits. Weight loss, better sleep, lower BP etc. etc.:money:

0 miles run this week. Been ill since Monday and still don't seem to be getting any better. See if I can make a GP appointment on Monday if I am still bad by then
Was hoping to have a good training week this week before the northern cross country championships next weekend. If I don't get better soon then I won't be running in them I guess“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -

Hope you're feeling better soon. Take it steady when you get back to exercising . Dont want to make yourself ill again.
I know how frustrating it is though.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
A quiet week for me but I still managed 38.4 miles.
Next week should be interesting as I will not have a car for most of the week so I'll be walking everywhere  I draw the line at walking the 30 miles to Dundee to collect the new car though :rotfl:0 -
Week 3 - 40.4 miles. So 128 miles against a target of 115. My former walking buddy is getting back to things which is an unexpected and very welcome side effect of taking up walking in the evening again
here's to a good fourth week! I could do with picking up a few extra miles since I'm away for work the following week and might not get to walk as much as I'd like.
