45.6 miles this week. Cut short my run today due to tired legs so this is all that I have run this week. Winding down next week as I have a race on Sunday so will probably be behind next week.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0

Less than three months old and the fitbit zip has died, nix, nada. Downloaded a pedometer on my phone. Grrrr:mad:0

Total this week: 54.9 miles... 9 of those were today accidently, should have only been 5 or 6!!
Total this year to date: 636.1 miles. +97.6 miles ahead of average!
Thursday off for me this next week, very tempted to take on a bigger lump of rock.... really tempted with Snowden, but will probably settle for doing either Kinder Scout that I have been meaning to do for a while, or maybe take on one or two of the Yorkshire 3 peaks0 -

Complain to them! I have to say they replaced my Fitbit one twice with no quibbles, they had excellent customer service. And once was kinda my own fault (hillwalking in Italy in July, reckon it was the sweat that did it and I admitted this)

Enjoy, although I fear they all may be quite busy this week.

Snowden I think will be busy regardless of what day I pick now.
However, I'm running out of sensible time before the refurb job at work kicks in and I am knee deep in network cables for the rest of the year!0 -

Make the most of it then
I've just booked another trip to the peak district this morning and one for the lakes
So now have 3 trips to the peaks booked and 3 to the lakes. All for recces or races though lol. Really need to book a couple of trips just for enjoyment.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -
After making an effort to get out everyday in Dorset, even though I didn't have the dogs with me, I have finished wk 11 on 311 miles against a target of 268. I also managed to average 16,000 steps over the week. It helps when the weather is nice and you have no real commitments.

So I could not decide which lump of rock to climb today and thought I would just see what it looks like when I get there.... was either Ingleborough or Pen-y-Ghent.
Parked up in Horton-in-Ribble, I had planned out both walks and decided to do the longer of the 2 despite not being able to see it from where I was parked.... 9.5 mile round trip up Ingleborough...... got back to the car had lunch and though, sod it, I have paid for parking all day, I don't have to be back home for anything, so plodded the 6.5 mile round trip up Pen-y-Ghent as well!
16 miles, and ~3000ft of climbing..... I never want to see another pair of walking boots again lol I ache all over but well worth it!0
