I missed putting in last weeks figures so have two lots to add........
45.30 miles for last week and............
35.43 miles for the week I missed......
My chestiness is still lingering which isnt helping with energy levels so still need a few miles in the bag to feel on top of the challenge.
Gives me a total of 615.06Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Managed to do 48.6 miles this week taking my total to 723.1 miles. Now 107.7 miles ahead of weekly average.
What a chore it felt this week though, just really wasn't into it. Knee and foot pain but it seems as though both of those are on their way out.0 -
Managed 41.1 miles this week. Not bad considering I was away for 2 days.
Going to be missing some miles next weekend due to missing 12 miles on Sat as i have to drive to parkrun rather than run. But maybe make some of it up on Bank holiday Monday, we'll see.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -

2016 figures were:

48 miles last week - I took a week off work, which really makes a difference. My average daily step count is around 13,000, so getting around 19,000 a day meant I've caught up a bit.0

Sorry I haven't been posting lately and well done everyone. I'm currently at 128 miles for April against a target of 165. So need an average 6 miles a day for the rest of the month. I think I can do it
in fact would love to build my reserve back up after being ill end of March/start April.
In other news I'm on hols and it's very hilly here so have done 1153 flights of stairs so far this month. 171 of them yesterday (got a bit lost on a mountain lol)0 -
46.93 miles to add for me for last week.
Feeling much better after almost 4 weeks coughing.......thinking its almost disappeared and aiming for over 50 miles to add for next week.
Well done to everyone . I find threads like this so motivating even if its just a weekly visit to put my steps down in writing. :jMake £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -

Good to hear you are feeling better - seems 'that' cough has been doing the rounds and lingering about.
I agree, if it wasn't for posting on here, I'd probably be doing around 1500 miles, it gives me that extra shove!0 -
Yep, this thread in particular is quite good. Not as busy as others, but enough momentum to help everybody to keep the momentum going! Starting to really feel the miles though!
I am not only doing it for distance, but for weight loss. I have only just started 'calorie counting' using MyFitnessPal, and weight now its falling off me again! Nearly at a total loss of 5st lost since last year and almost about to break into the 12st range (was 13st 2 last Tuesday). The calorie counting/food logging is more to try and stop me snacking and attempt to control portion sizes.... its doing it job!
Still having issues with my foot! I don't think its anything serious such as a fracture as the only time it seems to happen is in shoes! I think I am narrowing down the issue to shoes which are not as wide as they need to be for my feet, and causing a rubbing, or pressure on my small toe thus resulting in pain! Worked out if I leave my fabric walking boots looser towards the toe end I can walk in them no problem, but if they are too tight, I can barely walk!0 -

You can lace boots and shoes to allow for wider feet. May be worth giving it a go.
Something like this:

or

I have to use heel lock lacing on all my running shoes as I have narrow heels and they slip otherwise.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0
