45.6 miles completed this week. Quite a lot for me seen as though I couldn't run on Tues, Wed, Thurs due to work.

Well, managed to pull a small lead on this weeks target..

Managed 42 miles in the end, so that's a +3.54 on this weeks weekly target.

Total at the end of week 13 (first quarter done!) is 581.2 miles, that's +81.20 of the overall weekly target to date.

Reporting in at the end of the 13th week 2 April 2017:

As of midnight Sunday night, I have walked 1336.48 km (830.45 miles) putting me 518.30 km (322.06 miles) ahead of schedule.

Off on holiday from tomorrow evening, so anticipating a drop in output next week. I am also anticipating a considerable drop in output over the following months, since I am currently working in the Middle East and it will just be too hot. Overall, I am confident I can reach the target.

Anything over 18 degrees is too hot for me...... Don't know how you do it!

It's not that hot (yet). In the evening, when I do most of my walking it is in the low 20 degrees, which is very pleasant.

I've just had two weeks off work where I've hardly worn my tracker due to doing lots of work in the house and garden and half way through the first day I was worried it would get damaged. It means I've fallen behind on the step count, I've done a lot more than has tracked but not sure what exactly.

As of this morning I'm on 1,160,073 steps, 4033 floors and 507 miles, that puts me a few days behind schedule so I have some making up to do. I've worked it out at just under half a mile a day behind so I'll just have to put in extra effort such a shame when I started the year so well and was ahead of where I needed to be, luckily I had banked the extra early on.

I have a Fitbit zip that lives in my jeans pocket. It seems to work stuffed down my bra as well.:o We are rarely apart :happyhear

  • 41.15 miles to add for me for last week.

Think this week is going to be bad as feel like Im coming down with yet another chest infection which totally saps my energy. My last one was just before christmas and took a good three weeks to get over so hoping its not going to be a repeat of that! :(

As expected....not been a great week for me. Still not 100% so this week could be not so good either. Will have some catching up to do.

    21.75 miles to add.

Sorry for the disappearance last week, I've been sick. Thanks so much to whoever advised the need to have a few miles in the bank cos I only made my quarter year total of 500 miles and used up all of my reserves (last week I walked just 25 miles :() Anyway I'm hoping to get somewhere near normal this week, was still ill Sunday and Monday and have been upping the mileage as far as I can. I'm away over easter and hoping to start rebuilding my reserve then!
