Well, I think all my get up and go has got up and gone :rolleyes: I have tons of stuff I should be doing, but I think I am going to be really naughty and just sit with my fee up and a cup of tea, and watch countdown.

OMG becoming a grandma and turning 50 has made me old :eek:

Well cant get a DR's appointment till tues feel sick and cant get warm and ache all over still very swollen wish i had left well alone was 1 small lump the size of a pea now 3 huge lumps and vey sore and swollen and red:eek:
Aussie its below my tummy button and it never sees the sun:rotfl:

If you are in a lot of pain and feverish then phone and ask for a visit- bet they find you an emergency appointment then!

was at the dr myself yesterday, i fainted last week, first time ever, gave kyles dh quite a scare my blood pressure went too low so my tablets are sorted out, gave me a bit of a fright too

its windy here today, not too cold though, been in the garden a while tidying and got my eye on the crab apple trees in the street, bought the country kitchen mag so there are plenty of apple recipes there

You really need to kick up a fuss and get that appointment... i have had what i think you might have..as i PM'd you earlier- basically, all the stuff that can't get out is what is making you hot and feel sick.. its like poisoning your system.... don't mean to sound scary.... but if i had it again i would go to casualty if i couldn't get into the docs....It might need draining, you don't want it to burst inwards..... trust me, even if it eases off..it will come back....either get yourself off to the docs and stand at the counter till someone sees you or grt of to the hospital.... and if it is something else at least they can give you something for it...antibiotics probably....

Tired Mum...please do as you are being advised...go to surgery and if nobody will see you head for A & E....no reason or sense in being in such agony and as MrsMC says, could be dangerous, so PLEASE..

DLB - glad you're feeling better but stress can do that. Pepto Bismol helps but try the other advice first - always better to go for the most natural (non-medical) cure if you can.

Well, had a bit of a lazy afternoon. DS2 came round after work - haven't seen him since before we went away so that was lovely. Gve him the French lavender plant we bought back for his garden (as well as a bottle of wine, of course!) Will catch up with the rest of the family at the weekend.

Went to the gym again this morning and really enjoyed it.

There seems to be a lot of newbies on here. The Shuffs, Princesstippytoes and others (sorry, I will get to know the names) so a big welcome to you all. I really enjoy this thread - we're a lovely bunch, aren't we?!

We have had a little rain but it looks quite threatening and wintry out there and so dark. It's really making me think of Christmas now!

Well, better go and do something I suppose. Will call in later and will try and read the thread properly. I hate just skimming through it.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to look at you all yesterday. Nice to see Catowen back and happy (belated) birthday to DS and hope things OK at dentist today. Our DGS2 knocked out a front tooth a few months ago just before he was 2! Welcome too to any new folk. Don't worry, you will soon get to know us all.

Would like to wish anyone celebrating today for whatever reason, my love and best wishes.

Tired Mum - you really must do as others are advising and seek immediate medical help. You cannot allow this to progress as you may end up seriously ill.

Mrs Mac - do you know that when I looked up who was on line this afternoon the person next to you on the list was MSE Martin!!!! Hope things still progressing OK with your Mum and sister.

DLB - sorry to hear you are so low. Please be careful about what you take medically if you are feeling sick and having tummy ache. Some medication can irritate things. Glad CC has given you a set of keys. Just make sure both of you don't shut yourselves out at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!

Aussie - well, hitch hiking the car ferry and spying on neighbours (how did you know she had a thong by the way!!) - well standards are slipping!

Well, Mum is supposed to be back at her own house today so will phone after 6.00 tonight to see how she has coped. Didn't phone last night as things seem to be progressing OK.

Not much else to report really. Hoping to have a weekend pretty much to myself as I feel the last few weeks have been rather hectic what with Mum, babysitting, work etc.

Sorry I haven't mentioned more of you but I do enjoy reading your posts. Love and hugs to anyone down or feeling poorly.

Afternoon all, hope everyone is well, happy and warm today. Dont know exactly whats wrong with me some sort of bug. Have lost my voice(a nation rejoices!!!SP) although its comming back a bit throat uncomfortable very tired, usual stuff. Been in bed for a lot of the last few days. Phoebe is fine htanks for all the good wishes. Have just been very sick (sorry) which is a new joy:rotfl: Also cant face coffee(just had my first one since Monday-then sick) SO ((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))) to everyone, particularly to the friends with birthdays, good news, troubles or sad news. Wil catch up later(hopefully)
