If it is a Bartholin's abcess , I had this years ago and had to have a minor op to have it drained.
It is the only op where you are in a lot less pain afterwards than before.

Have had a quiet morning as it has been raining like mad.

Tried on my new top and trousers and thought I might have lost a little bit of weight was stupid enough to say this to DH and got a dubious look and the "lecture" on having a long way to go.

Feel like stuffing my face with cream cakes and then just going out for the day in the rain!

I am not going to cry! Oh - dammit! See you later.

  • Good afternoon all!

I haven't just got up, honestly, but I did sleep for 10 hours solidly:o Feeling absolutely great now, so hope it lasts:D

Canada was fantastic. (Well the tiny part I saw. It is a massive country:rotfl: ) It was lovely seeing my son and DIL. The time we spent at their house was even more *waited on* than at the hotels:D And they took us out and about to some fantastic places. When I went up the CN tower it was still the tallest building in the world, the next day that place in Dubai had overtaken it!!:rotfl: Now I just have to deal with all the laundry:eek:  The washing machine is already begging for mercy! Then I have to decide whether or not I really do want to gift all that maple syrup fudge etc  (or maybe I'd rather do an Aussie and scoff it myself) Given that I've somehow gathered an extra pound or six on my travels I know what i should say:o

On which note congrats to all those managing to lose weight:T :T Shez 7 lbs is great, and I wouldn't mind at all losing 5lbs off my *buffers*!!

Welcome to all the newbies who have joined since I last posted ( and who don't know me from Adam:D )

I have skim read today's thread but can't remember who said what, so nothing unusual there then.

But Aussie I do remember your post, so just to say you could try an army surplus store for some infra-red night vision glasses, then you wouldn't have to rely on your neighbour having the porch light on:rotfl: :rotfl:

(((((((hugs))))))) to all with troubles of any kind, and especially to kyles DS, hope he's recovered from his hypo.

    CMxx

elona, just read your post. Don't cry, DH is just thoughtless, probably thinks he's helping to maintain your efforts. (((((hugs)))))
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
