I think most of us thought it would be a matter of time before the automated 'free drinks' monitoring made it's way from the bars to the slots on the casino floor.
Although not explicit with dates or venues, it seems it's closer to becoming a reality...

To my mind the article seems a bit too 'pro' the idea. Maybe it's constructed from a press release by the company behind the technology?
For me personally it's not too big a deal. If we are on a machine and a waitress asks, then we'll order, but I don't rely on it.0 -
To be honest I found anything with one of the large screens above it was tight, Jurassic Park was one and House of Cards was another.
Oh yes, Jurassic Park is terrible for bonuses, and when you do get them it hardly pays out a thing. Walking Dead has the big screen and I won over $1000 last trip. Sons of Anarchy was woeful for me though.
I'm awful at the Buffalo game. Everywhere I went, all I could hear was "Buffaloooooooooooo!" and I don't think I got a single bonus/feature on it.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

:rotfl: I was the same with the Buffalo game in the Mirage, all the ones around me were making the bonus noises and the only noise mine was making was chewing noises as it ate my twenty dollar bills :rotfl:0 -

C'mon tell us your best wins! You'd better not be using up all the hand pays before I get thereYet again, my misplaced optimism has kicked in and I'm convinced this year I'll get my first one haha!
Clouds....in Vegas? You sure your sunnies don't just need a clean?"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

So what do people think are the best games to play in Vegas? First time I went I had a good run on the tables last time they bit back
I never seem to do very well on slots but then I probably pick the wrong ones0 -

I play slots occasionally, but get bored easily.
I have never tried table games apart from a poker tournament. Too intimidating for me.0 -

I like poker and blackjack. My OH likes roulette but I'm pretty bad with it.
Slots, what sort of bet per spin do you play? I've found it much more rewarding to always play mid to max, I never play minimum bet because when you do win it's never a lot.
Has anyone had much luck with Game of Thrones? It was my stepdad's birthday while I was in Vegas last summer and instead of a present he asked me to put $20 in a slot for him. He's a massive GoT fan so of course when I spotted that one I thought it would be perfect. In the end I put probably quite a few hundred dollars in them in various casinos because I was filming (discreetly!) and wanted to trigger a bonus for him to see, but I got next to nothing.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

Should have asked this question when I posted earlier, sorry.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am thinking of playing golf when I go to Vegas in October does anyone have any recommendations of courses to play? Have been looking online and some look good but also expensive (Shadow Creek looks amazing), I want a good course for no more than $200 - $250 which would hopefully include club hire.0 -
