Well I'm afraid to say I've checked in online and packed ready to fly back to the UK Saturday afternoon.
Loved my stay in Vegas again. There have been a lot of changes since I've last been here eight years ago and still think I would like to return again next year.
I'll try and get some kind of report up when I get back and recovered from the jetlag. Does anybody enjoy the journey home? It always seems to take twice as long comng home....
I hope it doesn't take twice as long to get home in 3 days time....it took us 42 hours to get here:(0 -

I've been looking at groupons etc now that we're getting a bit closer (at least we are within the 120 day range which some of them have).
So far have purchased:-
Fizz at Caesars - unlimited 'champagne' $22.99 each on Living Social
Tropicana Comedy - groupon (with a 50% code on top of the usual price)
Blondie's at PH $50 for $30, except I had a 50% code so it was $15 on Groupon.
Still too early for myVegas redemptions. We also have about $250 or so of Total Rewards credit between us which we HAVE to use or we'll lose it. Need to get some ideas for that.0 -
I was one of the lucky ones, I was flying with Virgin and not British Airways! Quite a lot of spare seats on the flight home too.
We all had to show our passports to airport police as we got off the plane, there were a couple of young guys escorted to baggage claim to get their bags, somebody said that they'd been escorted off the flight the day before for being drunk and disorderly and the flight had been delayed for a couple of hours because of it. Good to see action being taken if that was the case.
An amazing holiday and I loved Vegas all over again, I was breaking pretty much even on the slots until Friday night when I decided to play at the MGM, their slots seemed to be really tight compared to anywhere else I played.
Did find that I couldn't walk past The Big Bang Theory slots without stopping to play them for a while. Definitely got addicted to them and the bonuses, Bazinga!
I'll put some other thoughts together and write them down probably tomorrow depending on the jetlag, never been able to sleep on a plane!
Thanks for all the contributions to the board, it's amazing what information you can pick up from it.0 -

All in all it wasn't fun ...42 hours in the same clothes, missed the first night in Vegas!!!!!!

I'm glad it's getting better. You deserve it after that start. Enjoy Delano.0

Breaking Bad - Agree.
Orange is the New Black - Definitely agree.
Sharnkado - Not played it.
Gremlins - No way! I loved this one. My biggest win was just short of $900 but I had a lot of $100 here and $100 there.
Willy Wonka - I bombed with this one.
Congrats on the wins, hope you're still up by the end of the trip! :TEgg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

I agree with Breaking Bad but disagree with Willy Wonka, that slot kept eating up my money without hardly ever giving anything back. To be honest I found anything with one of the large screens above it was tight, Jurassic Park was one and House of Cards was another.
I always seemed to do well with the Goldfish ones too. Best win was in the Rio on my first night, $300.00.
Enjoy the trip, has it cooled down any from last week?0 -
Willy Wonka hates me!
I used to love Goldfish but we fell out last year. My favourites are Buffalo, Black Widow, Invaders from the Planet Moolah and an incredibly cutesy one that's full of baby bears (probably not your style Stuie haha). Great that you're so well up, hope it stays that way!
Two weeks and one day and we'll be just getting to the airport - eek!"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"
