I don't think we'll be heading back to Vegas for a year so at least, so might try a Hippodrome reward in London, the VIP meal at Heliot Steakhouse... Anyone been there?

sadly im in the same boat as you and its NOT a good feeling having looked forward to our vegas trip in the last 3 years

Hoping to save up for next year though so hoping a good 12-13months of solid saving (and hopefuly get some comp rooms from Mlife)

sorry cant help with your question in reagrds the vip meal, though london rewards do look intresting and maybe worth a visit

I noticed this as well but didn't get any increase in the LP's but points shot up massively, I have been collecting them for quite a while without having a gamble and my balance is now showing as 143,817,740 which is crazy which makes me think what levels the stakes are now LOL:)

If anyone has an existing hotel only booking with Low Cost USA it might be worth checking the prices. The deals on Vegas are very good at the moment. If my understanding is right it will cost me £60 to cancel my booking (£30 pp) but I'll save over £200 if I immediately re-book the same suite at the Vdara.

I am off to Vegas in three weeks (can't wait!! Trip 1 of 2 this year :rotfl:). We've decided to try and spend a bit more time out of the casinos, so my husband got this Groupon deal for Cowabunga Bay (water park):

Has anyone been? It looks fun.

I bought us the Cowabunga passes...
Turns out, even with the groupon discount, our timing makes the groupon cost more (i think).... unsure of whether Cowabunga would charge tax on the price you see on there website...

We go 2 weeks today, and looking to goto the park on the tuesday after memorial day, which has hours of 4pm - 8pm, and ticket price of $20.....
Will let u know what the park is like anyway :)

    QUESTION FOR U ALL :)

Can i get away with using the Green Paper part of my Driving license to hire a car ??

Short Story: I got caught speeding, sent my license off to Money people 2 weeks ago, i can see the points on my license (online), but license hasn't been returned as yet....

Taking into account that Royal Mail are utter rubbish at doing there job, theres a possibility that my license wont be returned, or returned in time.....
So on that note, as i still have the green paper part, could i use that if needed ?

I don't think you can, as the green part isn't a valid part of the UK licence anymore. If you're going in two weeks I would have thought it would be back in plenty of time.

You and I must be there about the same time as I arrive there on the 21st May until I fly home on the 27th. I'll keep an eye out for you!
