Funny thing is I haven't played it since we got back last month, I just logged in out of boredom to see if there were any new rewards0 -
Following the discussion about Groupon a few weeks back...
My husband signed up last week and today tried to buy his first Groupon. Put in his address details using the Nevada zip but the transaction kept failing, as ever we couldn't enter a UK address (needs a US State). He went on live chat and had to give various details including our address - he made it clear it was a UK credit card in case that was what was mucking it up. Anyhow - the assistant was able to put the transaction through with no bother at all, he didn't even mention us being from overseas.
He's has since been on a bought a second Groupon and it went through first time so all seems ok
As an alternative with payment problems, you've probably already noticed but they now take PayPal, which can of course be linked to a suitable card (I use Halifax Clarity)"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

It's a whole new version of the mobile app (apparently!). They've introduced a new VIP system that works in a similar way to Player's Cards - each VIP level gets specific benefits, highest tier get a MyVegas host.
I had an increase in chips but that's only to counteract the corresponding increase in spin costs. Definitely didn't notice any increase in LPs - lucky you!!
Been meaning to ask you as well - when you were at Palazzo did you manage to get morning coffee back to your room while it was still hot?! Less than six weeks til we're there :j"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

I need to do my proper trip report don't I!
Yes coffee back to the room (or the pool) was no problem. Where we were, there was a "Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf" by the elevators on the casino floor (at the back of the casino straight through from the lobby). Or on the second floor near the elevators there was another shop (it was blue, can't remember what it was called!)0 -

has something happened to MyVegas in the last month or so?
Are you sure you have been given more than 300K LP's and not just playing chips?
Anyway yes there has been a big shake up of the app. They trialed a VIP status with selected random players, OH was one of the ones chosen. She logged in to find a VIP badge in the top left hand side, was given another 1 million to play with, and could buy chips at a ridiculous small price. (300K $4.99)
BUT.... the cost of playing everything hit the roof.
It has now rolled out to everyone I think. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

I don't think we'll be heading back to Vegas for a year so at least, so might try a Hippodrome reward in London, the VIP meal at Heliot Steakhouse... Anyone been there?0
