Try being a US citizen arriving in the UK and having to stop at an immigration desk (even with a visa). They aren't the welcome wagon, I don't expect them to be my best friend...they have a serious job to do. I have never really noticed much a difference between the UK and US in this respect...in fact, I have had more borderline friendly US agents with my non-US citizen hubby than when we come back here.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
I've booked a table at the bally's sterling buffet as a surprise for my OH on our honeymoon (he's been watching YouTube videos and told me he wanted to do that or the bacchanal, we booked bacchanal together but this is like a post wedding chill out present).
I've read online there are things you order to the table but not all waiters will tell you. Does anyone know what you can order to table? I don't want him to miss out on an item he might like just because our waiter doesn't mention it.
Also can I get soft drinks in the headline price or are they extra on top? I know the price includes champagne but I don't know how much I will want to drink at 11:45 on a Sunday morning.0 -
Is there an online way to buy some chips via caesars online to keep TR credits active every 6mths? WOuldn't mind losing a tenner in 6 mths time to give me scope to possibly use 80dollars in my account0

They do have a game affiliated to Caesars, but I forget which it is. It's very clunky if I remember correctly so I stopped playing. Maybe someone else will remember.0

It's going to be very tight to keep my account active. I've got 2370 or so points just now. I need to transfer 2000, I'm not sure I'll get to the next 1000 in around 20 days. Any thoughts?
We hope to go in September. Either 31st Aug, or 2nd September. I need to get some activity early March to cover this. Fingers crossed I can time this right. I'll hopefully transfer out 1000 around 3rd or 4th September. Then the other 1000 at the last minute.
Hopefully this will work. Sometimes takes a while to transfer into TR account, but assuming it leaves SR by mid march it's ok?0 -
The official Caesars slots app can be linked to your tr account. It only gives tr points for purchased chips, but might help some of you keep your points.0

Not sure if already posted, yet another increase in resort fees:
"March 1, Caesars Palace (and Nobu Hotel), The Cromwell, Paris Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will charge $39.68 (including taxes) per night. Bally’s, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, the LINQ Hotel & Casino and the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino will charge $34.01 (including taxes) per night."0 -

When we went two years ago (paid for with Social Rewards points...sob!) there was a little menu on the table of things that were cooked to order - from memory I think it was variations of eggs benedict. Sure I ordered one but can't remember which. It was a fabulous experience, the food was wonderful and the service was just spectacular - very attentive (they do NOT like seeing champagne glasses less than half full) but not at all stuffy.
We were offered coffee and orange juice - I stuck to champagne but my husband had oj and we weren't charged any extra.
Lovely surprise for your new husband - I'm sure you'll love it there"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

Ooh, I'm sure your OH will be aware of the popovers - your waiter will offer them, definitely say yes, they are heavenly!"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

Is that the giant bread? I've seen some massive cheese loaf on some of the videos that he's been watching.
I'm looking forward to it, he loves his food and it's pretty much the reason we are visiting Vegas, we're not gamblers!0
