We were there 2 years ago and it was brilliant. I had reservations due to cost but made it worthwhile with the amount of champagne i had!!

This time around it didn't seem as good and I doubt we will go again.

    thanks

neither of us drink champagne so probably wouldnt be worth it to us.

Neither my husband nor I are big fans of champagne, and he isn't that big on lobster and doesn't eat crab legs...so we always feel like it may not be worth it for him, and possibly me...decisions, decisions.

the only Sunday booking I can get during our trip is for 1pm, though...

Serena - popovers should get everyone's attention! :) I cannot believe I have only just discovered them in the last few months...those years of wasted opportunities!
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Me too, I remember seeing the facebook pics recently but didn't realise quite what they were. Cheesy yorkshire puddings sound good.

I don't do crabs legs but OH does. I'll have lobster from time to time and this is one of the reasons it wasn't as good this time round - the lobster wasn't great.

The fillet mignon however, and the Yukon gold mash are superb.

They stop serving food at 2:30. But you can still get what's out for a while.

From memory the first time we went we were among the last to leave at 3-3:30.
This time we had a 12 booking and left about 2:45
